“Superb rooms but expensive”
Reviewed 4 June 2013

Entering Canada by vehicle touring from America the first observation was how expensive accommodation is in Canada.
The front desk staff were very friendly and incredibly helpful.
My request for a quiet room was met, the room was EXCEPTIONALLY equiped and was faultless.
The complimentary breakfast was the BEST Best Western one we have had in two weeks touring.

This hotel is nicely maintained and very clean and comfortable. It's great value for a stay in Canmore, and with a pool & waterslide, it's a perfect fit for a family doing quick weekend trip or even for a longer stay. Enjoyed it immensely!

We stayed on a sat and sun night just a little while ago and we now rate this hotel as the best we have ever stayed at. The staff were friendly and interested. The atmosphere is very welcoming and not stuffy. The rooms were immaculate and very well appointed with a fireplace in each. I was especially pleased to see bath products from the Rocky Mountain soap company. I noticed that in the public bathroom there was a basket of common necessities that a person may require free of charge. We spent time at the pool which was clean and well kept. Our daughter was happy to find computers for guest use free of charge. The only small complaint we can make is that on the first breakfast morning there seemed to be a bit of a shortage in food selections and on both mornings there were no boiled eggs. Nonetheless, we will definitely return to this hotel for subsequent stays
We felt completely at home and at ease here. Keep up the great work staff

This is an older property, but very well maintained. Friendly staff, nice amenities. Pool with waterslide, workout room, steam room and sauna. Breakfast was very good with a lot of offerings. Would definitely stay here again.

We have stayed in this hotel numerous times over the past 10 years. The staff is friendly and helpful. The pool is big, bright and clean. The fitness center is spacious, almost to a fault. They could use a little more equipment. The games room is a bit dark and the only two games (foosball and ping pong) have seen better days.

The hotel is a long walk from the downtown area, so if you prefer to walk you might want to stay closer.

We have seen a wide variety of rooms in this hotel, and they vary greatly in terms of size and amenities. Book what you want or need. I love the Kuerig coffee machines in the rooms, which were new since our last stay.

We have stayed here several times and this hotel always exceeds our expectations in all areas. Pleasant staff, spacious, clean and quiet rooms. Our request for wine glasses was answered in a timely manner. We especially love the spa...its so big! It is always clean in the pool areas. Our reservation indicated we were given a pet friendly room and we were pleased to be upgraded when we said we were not travelling with a pet. Breakfast is a bonus. Will always choose this hotel first.
