My wife and I stayed at the Best Western Pocaterra Inn for five nights in early July 2007. We stayed in a king room facing the Trans-Canada Highway that was sufficiently roomy and very quiet. The room was equipped with a microwave, hair dryer, ironing board and iron, and a refrigerator, but lacked a safe to lock up valuables. The bed was very comfortable, and hot water was always available at shower time. Check-in was fast and friendly, and we had nothing but good experiences when dealing with the desk staff. There is also a heated indoor pool with a nice waterslide at the hotel, although my wife and I never took the time to give this area a try. We had just three minor complaints with the hotel: 1) There is just one elevator in the hotel, and it is painfully slow. 2) The floor of the elevator is always dirty due to people coming from the pool area with wet dirty feet. 3) The complimentary breakfast is below average, and the two people assigned to maintain it always seemed to be more intent on carrying on private chats than keeping the items stocked and the tables clean. But these minor problems aside, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Pocaterra Inn, and would not hesitate to stay there again.
