Once you have tried this place you will never look at bread the same way. I have severe cravings for everything I have tried here. I always select something that I have had before and something new to explore. My 'new explore' is almost always my new favourite! I had the Croque Monsieur last time which made for a delightful breakfast served with fresh fruit. The carrot cake, the chocolate torte, the macaroons all exquisite. They also make a seriously good cup of coffee, pretty sure it is the Fratello roasters out of Calgary. The care taken in everything they make puts the other bakeries and cafes to shame. The staff are truly passionate about their product. No matter how far back the line up goes, they have a way of making you feel special. My French is terrible, and they are so helpful explaining each item in the display. Le Fournil is definitely worth planning your day around.

This is a fine French patisserie that produces wonderful delicacies worthy of Paris. It's hard to decide which of the beauties in the display case to sample with your morning coffee. Definitely an upscale product, although the cafe itself is nothing remarkable. Take your treats home for a special occasion.

Breads and pastries and sandwiches made and presented as if you were in Europe. Really fine baking, cakes are superb and not overly sweet.

A great way to start the day with French pastries and delicious coffee. The service was great, and the price was reasonable for the wonderful goods.
