Stopped in Drummondville for lunch on the way home from Quebec City. Many restaurants were filled up as it was Mother's Day. Walked around a bit and found Cafe Odace. It has many prepared sandwiches and salads, as well as soup, frittatas, desserts and coffee/tea. The owners/servers behind the counter were delightful, helping us with our order and being patient with us (we try but lack fluency in French.) Food was good for partially pre-prepared; I had a croissant with cheese and a salad that had apples and walnuts. The latte was served with some cocoa on the foam in the shape of two eyes and a smile - a happy face! (Or as I like to say, Cafe Heureux.) The owners surprised us by giving us some pens with "Cafe Odace" on them as well as some small chocolates, a very nice gesture of friendliness. I used the bathroom and found it to be very clean. This is a small cafe with about 10-12 tables; there were regular sized tables with chairs, and small round tables with cushioned armchairs that were very comfortable. I would be happy to return here if I am in the area again.
