I was flying out on New Year's Eve afternoon and met my mother at Bijou for a leisure breakfast, it was wonderful! The hostess was very helpful with storing my luggage cart so I didn't have to go back downstairs. I arrived early, and was offered wifi access. The service was great, attentive, polished and friendly. Breakfast was delicious... I recommend the smoked salmon benedict, my mother had the traditional breakfast and enjoyed (we can both be very picky). The latte's are very good too. I recommend the hotel and restaurant, with being connected to the International departure area of the airport, so perfect... nice atmosphere, plenty of comfy space to meet, read, work on laptop... The valet person downstairs was a real gentleman with my mother and with her car. The one drawback was she couldn't find the hotel parking, but valet is comped when eating at the restaurant, so the parking experience was even better in the end. I will definitely keep the Bijou+hotel in mind when in Montreal airport...

Were there on Saturday December 21, 2013. Some family members were flying out the next day, we drove them to the Marriott and stuck around for a few drinks and dinner. Drinks were OK, service was a bit slow but acceptable.

As for the dinner, first a few positives, the hostess Ariane and our waiter Georges went above and beyond to try to better our experience despite the management's shortcomings. The place was way understaffed for the number of guests. We were told that for the level of hotel occupancy there are usually more staff. The service took a hit accordingly, everything was slow. Beyond that, the first two appetizers we order are out of stock. Seems kind of ridiculous given the restricted menu and that some of the items were likely frozen so running out is not acceptable. When we talked to the manager, Sasha, about it he just rambled on apologizing and explaining their mistakes and doing nothing to improve our experience. In the end the food we did receive was average. One of our Quebecois burgers was kind of dry and not very tender. All in all not bad food, but not great, especially for Montreal.

Came for drinks with relatives leaving (and staying at the Marriott- very nice room by the way). Right off the bat service was slow. We had a nice waiter, George (he works weekend). After our drinks we decided to have dinner. We (almost) had to strike a deal with the hostess (Arianne) to get a table (without reservation) while the manager (Sasha) stood there doing nothing. When we got our table, George was our waiter once more. We were 2 couples and 1 friend, we ordered 3 appetizers, 2 of which were out of stock, on a Sat. during a snow storm, in an airport hotel a few days before Christmas... When we asked to speak with the manager, he simply stated his stock problems. The manager wasn't client oriented at all. The place was short staff, thus the slow service, and they ran out of stock! Overall, we had good burgers, but it took forever to get anything. Even our bills took a good 15 min to get after we've asked for them. We will not go back to the restaurant, despite George's attentive service. He made our experience a little more pleasant, since he seemed to care, but really if it wasn't for the company we were with we would have left. Kuddos to George, Arianne and Mohammed for the service they provided and too bad Sasha, the manager, didn't care.

Good hotel restaurant. Service good. The waiters friendly. Food was good. Not slow service. The decor was really. Had breakfast the next morning and it was fast and good as we were leaving. We are gold members and travel alot and this was a good place to eat for a hotel restaurant

Really bad service is all I can say about this place! We only saw our waiter once the entire duration of our meal and that was to take our order. He asked if we wanted a drink when taking our order and at that moment we could not choose what we wanted so he said that he would be right back......he didn't come back until our meal was finished.

We did not get a chance to order a drink, we were not given bread, he did not check on us to see how our meals turned out and he didn't even fill up our waters!!!!

We went to manager to complain about the service, he didn't apologize, he just casually walked us over to our server so we could pay the bill and then disappeared intonthe kitchen!!
Awful service for mediocre food!
