It's off the beaten track and most unlikely looking, but go! We were taken there to dinner by a cordon Bleu Chef and once the food arrived we knew why! The food is sensational.

We were there for a staff party and it was ok. The quality of the food is good but this is not a restaurant where the chef is creative nor is he a risk taker. These places serve a large number of people in a nice setting giving an illusion of fine dining. The menu features very popular italian food as well as other choices.. I had the salmon which was bland and over cooked with frozen sautéed vegetables. The staff party was there both in December and June.. So no excuse for fresh vegetables being expensive in June .the restaurant is was it is. Nothing special but pleasant.

Thank you “Chef Antoine” for your comments.
At Porotvino we pride ourselves on the following… Only fresh vegetables of 1st quality, Only scratch made sauces including chicken stock and Demi-Glass(taking 24hrs to make), Only use of fresh herbs and the use of fresh fish including pole caught substainable tuna. Baking and creating all of our pastrys and cakes in our bakery on our premisses. Only using pure extra virgin olive oil of first quality from my familys personal olive harvest. Using only fresh Certified Angus Beef with licencesing to prove it .We only use milk fed veal from Quebec as well as live Quebec lobsters. We also use exclusive artisinal coffee which our barrisats using free hand latte art.
We would never tarnish our image and chef reputation by using frozen vegetables or powdered basses or anything of infurier quality. We are a high volume B.Y.O.B restaurant with 6 location that takes pride in not serving typical chain fare. We would love to have you in our restaurants and give you the full tour of our kitchen facility “Chef Antoine”

We celebrate birthdays and family gatherings with a brunch at Portovino's. The extensive selection allows everyone to choose their favorites...lunch, breakfast, combination. There is a salad bar, cheeses, roast beef, desserts, etc.! From bagels and lox to waffles to roast beef, everything was delicious.

I went there for the first time for dinner with friends on a Saturday night in April 2014. First, I was impressed by this huge, classy & very crowded busy lively restaurant where you can bring your own wine but the menu somehow has impressed me as well ...but negatively...: it's expensive but did not meet my high expectations and this was shared among us 4 peaople. This being said, service was very good until we received our 2 bills- one for each couple- very dissapointing because there were several mistakes overcharging 20 % more ON BOTH BILLS which was of corse immediatly corrected ....so...overall, we spent a nice entertaining evening but won't return.
