Been here a few times, always the same story. Feels like you're bothering the wait staff just by giving them your order, and then they pretty much ignore you for the remainder of the time you're there. A few of them have major attitude--I went with a friend and we ordered the nachos. She doesn't eat red meat, and the nachos came SMOTHERED in chili, even though that was written nowhere on the menu. I don't usually expect nachos to be smothered in a meat sauce. When we explained it to the waitress, she said she couldn't take them back. It took some coercing, an overall weird exchange, before she finally agreed to take them back and replace them with meatless nachos. Weird. We just looked at her when she said she "couldn't take them back, they're already made." We didn't even want a refund. Just meatless nachos.

The drinks, however, are dynamite. So good, in fact, that even despite the service, I went back. Really, really good. Would be nice to see some warm mason jar drinks in the winter months, as well.

The ambience was really nice! We went there after going to an other restaurant before in the same area. All of us ordered some drinks which are served in pot massons. The staff was nice but some of them looked too busy for our requests.

In general, i was pretty satisfied and am definitely looking forward to going back.

We went for the first time on October 31st, yes Halloween, with the servers dressed up. This was a good looking young staff, in line with the cool atmosphere that the pub tries to project, but the get up of our server was so rude that it affected the pleasure of the meal. Thankfully this only happens once a year.
The pub was well laid out and the music, although loud was OK. The menu is one of the shortest I have seen recently, probably 6 or 8 main course choices, and oh yes, no light to read it by! If management must have mood lighting, please provide substantial windproof candles to read the menus.
We arrived about 7 pm so there were not a lot of people there. Our menu choices, the hamburger and fish and chips came within reasonable time, about 10 minutes, were served in a tin bucket, but were of excellent quality. My partner had 5 pieces of fish in her serving with a thinish crispy batter. The fish flaked nicely. My burger was quite the best I have ever eaten. A generous 8 ounce portion of beef with a wonderfully developed grill flavor, topped with a mushroom and a fried pickle. The fried pickle might have been cute, but I would have preferred a nice cool fermented sour for this meal. Let's face it, who needs an extra 100 calories with a high calorie meal like this? The fries also are worthy of comment. They were crisp, deep golden, flavourful and seemed to be home made, not the frozen straws of the fast food restaurants. The other menu item we ordered, the soup, was pumpkin (what else?) and came with only the scantiest of dried bread garnish. This is a micro brewery, and their Mile blonde, the least expensive beer on the menu, was excellent. Of particular note was the excellent floral hopping.
This meal cost us $60 including tax, tip and 2 drinks. A little more than one might expect, but worth it for an enjoyable night out in a trendy spot.

Amazing service but they said they were normally busier, it was a Sunday. Nice ambiance like a local pub. Food was great, salads fresh and very tasty dressing. Fish and chips very hearty and the Cider on tap was excellent. Definitely a place to return to.

I like Miles, because I like the atmosphere it gives out. The food is decent, except for the fries that are pretty good. Customer service is pretty horrible. They all think they are on top of the world, they never check up on you, they never smile. Drinks are a little bit more pricey then other places but only worth it because of the location and the atmosphere. Probably one of the worst place for customer service but they get helped out because of the atmosphere.
