“Recommended!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 April 2014 via mobile

Ordered 6 dishes and 6 naans. Came out to 77$! Not bad and would recommend. They seem to get a lot of take out orders.
The butter chicken was quite good.

“I question all the 5 star reviews!”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 March 2014

I've been to a lot of Indian restaurants, and this one was REALLY disappointing! The colours of the foods were beiges, and yellows, not deep reds (ex: chana masala). The samosas look like deep fried wonton pastry (what??) not the usual delicious thick crispy bread I have experienced at other places, the interior not bursting with veg either. :( all chick pea. Where is the potato and the green peas and the COLOUR? Also usually you get a free chutney with it - we got nothing. Bland. The basmati rice has bits of lime green coloured rice inside - very unappetizing. Very dry. The tandoori chicken was EXTREMELY dry. Also the naans were cold and moist. Won't order here again. Like good Indian food in Brossard try Le Tandoor, in Montreal on Jean Talon MANY places, and in Ottawa you must must must go to Taj Indian Cuisine. Would go to Ottawa JUST for that!

“Vegetarian delight”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 February 2014 via mobile

I've ordered over the phone 3 times from there, I order "cc" I believe, which is basically a vegetarian buffet! I got 5 different dishes with nan bread, it's all so good. If you plan on ordering just know that it takes about an hour to arrive.

“Shaan tandoori, the BEST Brossard has to offer??”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 December 2013

When we saw there was a new Indian in town, we could not wait to try it! There used to be a really good Indian on Auteuil which we patronized regularly but, for some reason, it disappeared! SO this was an exciting new thing to try. We ordered a take out of Tikka Masala with naan bread. The naan was at least a day old, hard, dry, totally uninteresting! The Tikka was extremely sugary in flavour! A total loss in taste and money. I returned next day to complain and the person started to argue until he realized I was not a neophyte to Indian food. He then said we should have a repeat menu at their expense. We ordered the same menu the following week and that was acceptable Indian food but we felt the cost of the meal outweighed the quality of the food. I don't expect they have since lowered their prices!!

“A little gem in Brossard”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 November 2013

This restaurant was chosen because of it's good reviews.
We were looking for a restaurant near Quartier Dix-30 for a show, but a restaurant where you can eat at a decent price.

The exterior of the restaurant doesn't look good at all. Usually, I wouldn't be interested to eat in a place that looks like that.
But inside, it is surprising.
It is nice, cozy, and very clean (so are the bathrooms!). The staff is very nice and the service was very good.
The fact that it it a BYOB place was very interesting for some people in our party.
So we were 5 adults.
We chose the 'meal for 4', ready on this website that the special 'meal for 3' was a lot for 3 people.
We had appetizers (pappadum with sauces, onion bhaji, samosas, and salads). They even added an extra appetizer plate for free for the 5th person in our group as we were only supposed to get 4.
For the main dishes, we had rice, butter chicken, chicken tandoori, vegetable curry, shrimps, beef bhoona and naan. Everything was great! We all enjoyed everything. The amount of food was perfect for 5 people and too much for 4. The prices are also good.
We went there on a Saturday night, at 6 pm.
There was only us and a couple for a while. However, the phone kept ringing for take-outs and deliveries, proving the success of this restaurant (which means we waited a bit before getting the main dishes, but it was a decent waiting time, and it gave us some time to digest the appetizers and to have nice discussions). Around 7 pm, a lot more people arrived, and the restaurant was pretty full when we left around 7:30 pm.
We had a great dinner and a nice time there.
This is a place I definitely want to go back to.
From downtown Montreal (where I live) to the restaurant on a Saturday night, it took us 20 min to get there!
