Staying at a college dorm has a couple advantages over a hotel. First, it's especially useful when going with a group, where sleeping in the same room is not always the best. We got a suite with 2 separate bedrooms and a common kitchen area. Second, they have a pool table, foosball table, and ping pong table, plus a movie room with a large screen TV for use by guests. It made for an enjoyable evening with friends.

The staff was very friendly. Free coffee is available all day long. The breakfast was meager (no eggs, no meat) and overrun by guests, requiring a bit of patience. We brought our own food and made use of our kitchen area. Note: The kitchen area has only a fridge and a microwave... no stove/oven.

I wish I knew about the protruding bed frame before I slammed my leg into the corner (it hurt so bad, gave me a huge bruise). It would be beneficial if some bumpers were on the corners.

I was surprised to learn upon arrival that this is a dorm for a local college utilizing its residential students' halls in the summer months when they are empty. Very affordable, relatively clean, good continental breakfast. I shared a room with a friend and we each had our own room within the space with full-sized beds and our own tvs. Private bathroom but it was TINY.

slow checkin, I've waited for 10 mins.
Extra dirty rooms , the floor was dirty, the beds were dirty that you can see a lot of unknown big dusts.
A lots of kids runing outside the rooms, don't know why there were so many kids.
It was said FREE WIFI, but I was told there NO WIFI on the 3rd floor, only the 1st floor.
Never Never come back again.

We were looking for good value for a short stay in Niagara and we found it. We stayed 2 nights and although the rooms were extra cozy with 2 double beds for our family of 4 we were comfortable. Service at the front desk and breakfast area was excellent. Staff was very accommodating with providing extra towels, hairdryer and access to the bike room where we stored our bikes during our stay. Besides some strange stains on the doors in our room, it was clean. Full size fridge and microwave were also convenient. We didn't know we would be right on the Niagara College campus and it was absolutely beautiful, with the escarpment at the back, a natural conservation area on site and the College's own vineyard, which offers tours and wine tasting as well. The location was the highlight for us, half way between Niagara on the Lake and Niagara Falls. The added bonus was the Outlet Mall directly across the street. If we plan another family bike tour in Niagara's Wine region we would stay here again.

One has all the basic amenities needed for a comfortable stay. We were in Welland to watch the ships navigate through the amazing locks along the Welland Canal so we decided to stay here as it was close to the locks. The standard "room" is really a 2 room apartment with a kitchenette (fridge and microwave only). The apartment was simple but clean. Basic toiletries and towels were all provided. Reception was very friendly and generally the place was quite adequate for a simple night's stay for a very reasonable rate.

This was the perfect place for me and my teenage son to stay. We each had our own room and it was very quite. The front desk staff was great. No wi-fi in rooms unless you have an ethernet cable. Elevator was broken at time of our stay so going up and down stairs got a bit old after a bit.

I would recommend this place if you are looking for a good clean place to sleep. If you want lots of amenities, than look elsewhere.

I have stayed here twice, once in May of 2012 and again this year in May 2013 for my kids national karate tournament. (2 adults and 2 children) *note* This is a COLLEGE DORM being rented out as a hotel.

*location* excellent! It was only a 15 minute drive from where we had to be in the morning.

*front desk* : When we arrived we were greeted in a very friendly professional way. The woman working the front desk took the time to answer the many questions my 2 children asked with patience and a genuine smile. Check out in the morning went quickly with the same friendly service.

*room* 2 bedrooms each with a double bed and small t.v. on a desk. Kitchenette with fridge and microwave. Bathroom with shower. The room was clean. We had to ask for extra pillows and towels (only 2 towels were provided), which arrived in under 10 minutes. I do have a few complaints.. the windows in the rooms (see photo) do not open enough to allow airflow. We were only able to open them 2 inches. The kitchenette table is only large enough for 2 people and we had to move the bedroom desk chairs (which are on wheels) to accommodate for us as a family. There is also some noise transference between rooms; muffled but noticeable when trying to settle kids for sleep. We had to turn the t.v. to cartoons to help.

*childrens activities* There was a common room located on our floor with a big screen t.v., sofa and Foosball table. My kids enjoyed playing a few games before heading off to bed.

*breakfast* Average continental breakfast. Breads (bagels/English muffins/toast), cereals, juice, coffee, tea and various fruits. A variety of jams, butter, and cream cheese were available. The room for breakfast quickly became over crowded with not enough seating. I suggest getting your food and taking it back up to your room if you want a quiet morning; which is what we did.

Overall we enjoyed our stay this year.
