Richmond Hill Golf course is conveniently located just off the 407 on Bathurst. Access travelling north is very convenient however exiting south from the course has its challenges. The grounds are beautiful and the clubhouse facilities are fine. The course is very tight and the holes are bunched together. There isn't much of a second cut and the rough makes it almost impossible to find your balls. Very punishing course for the average golfer.

I love the location of this golf course...its a nice challenging course and you will need to play target golf on a few holes...course was in fine shape and the beer carts were available regularly....the 2 for 1 tickets (on sale at the end of the season) are very reasonable and include breakfast on weekends...there is a driving range and a very nice clubhouse/pro shop....

I almost don't want to write this review because it will attract more golfers BUT when you are this good it has to be said. Everything about this course is perfect. Amazing staff that cater to all needs. Great teaching facilities, range and a course that challenges all handicaps. A first class place to play, relax and enjoy perfect days. #1 FAV all day long!

Its a nice course. Lots of elevation changes, challenging narrow and long holes that you will be tempted to use your driver but advised not to. if you are an average golfer you will lose balls for sure. Greens are in good shape but some Tee blocks are in rough shape. The club house is nice and food is good. its actually a nice scenic course.

With golf prices rising, including the GTA courses it is an expensive sport. Because of Richmond Hill's location I understand the popularity but to be "Honest" value for buck is off. The grooming is always pretty decent but the layout is lame. The first two holes are a great example of what I mean. A ninety degree first hole...short and impossible to attempt to cut a corner it is straight forward & boring. The second is also another hole jammed in with a little left 45% angle...but short again! The hole running along #7 Hwy
Is long but another 90 degree turn to right followed by a hole that follows with a 90 degree to the left...really poor layout! There are lots of challenging holes but too many that feel like they were crammed in to make a full 18 holes. So overall price does not match the quality & challenge. It needs to be lowered to reflect its true value! I have never felt like it was worth the price. I have played it over 12 times for charity and because it's local & close. Staff are good, The range needs better targets with proper distances marked. No washroom located at range area even thought here's a training building there. You need to walk a fairly long distance to clubhouse to buy tokens or card for balls. It should all be accessible at the range area. This a noticeable flaw!
Dangerous entrance way that could be moved to traffic lights 100 yards north that actually have a roadway into course but is unused! This needs to be addressed before a left turn ends up fatal across 3 lanes one coming off highway!
I give the course 6.5/10
