We JUST checked in, and with the unreal customer service, already felt compelled to write a review. We were checked in by a staff member named Russell. He was incredibly friendly and welcoming and went out of his way several times (already -- we've been here for maybe an hour) to be helpful to us.

Otherwise, our room is clean and cozy, the hotel is clean and updated -- overall, a pleasure so far. :) Ask for Russell!

Your average budget hotel that is in need of an update (which I believe it us slowly getting). The front desk staff was nice and accommodating. My two year old did find an unused condom beside the bed which was a little disturbing so the room wasn't cleaned all that well.

Nice hotel ideally located when visiting the Bruce peninsula. A little outdated, may need a refresh, but we liked our stay here. The front desk staff was amazing. The guy who checked us in took the time to explain us everything. We had the chance to enjoy the swimming pool and jacuzzi, which was the reason why we chose this hotel. It is really nice to relax after a day of hiking in the national parks. The king room was spacious, as well as the bathroom. The bed was comfortable. We did not try their restaurant. I would recommend to stay in this hotel, even if we found it a little bit outdated. The wifi was not working well which was a drawback.

Have only stayed here once, found the place to be very clean. The pool and hot tub area is the very BEST that I have come across in all the places that I stay at for work. The sauna room was excellent like the idea that there is a separate one for guys and girls along with change rooms so you do not have to wear bathing suits or shorts in them. The bed was very comfortable and room and bathroom perfect. Will definitely stay here again if I need to stay in Owen Sound again.

Thanks

Room tip: Ask for ground floor if you are a smoker as they have sliding doors to get outside and you can get to sauna with just your towel.

Stayed here for a short overnight labour day weekend while visiting the Bruce Peninsula area. Owen sound is beautiful and this hotel is very close to the centre of town but not sure if public transport is available in the area so private vehicle is higly recommended to get to this hotel and to explore the area. Quick check-in & check-out, Reception staff was ok, Got a ground floor room with a door that opens to the parking, convenient access to one's car.The place is old, breakfast not inc but got it on sale so cant really complain. Room size is OK, has microwave and fridge, small sofa. Overall, not bad if you get it on special deal but wouldnt spend full price.
