Driving along the rout to Cape Forchu , just enjoying the Scenery from the shores of Saint Marys Bay down along the shores of other little towns I cant remember all the names but we surely enjoyed the beautiful fishing towns as well. When we arrived to Yarmouth the weather changed and got foggy ,...by the way they do have a lot of fog down East .The cape was just outstanding with the lit up Lighthouse on the hill. The gift shop had just closed so we didn't get to buy anything .I thought that Cape Forchu was somewhat like Peggies Cove lots of big rock .My husband was very impressed and would love to visit again without the fog .They have a huge yellow chair that holds the Web Cam very cool. .Loved it but try to choose a nice day no fog.

Very picturesque. You may find it a bit foggy or in the brilliant sunshine. Don't forget your camera. Huge and I mean huge adirondack style chair which hold 3 or 4 people and can be seen on their webcam.

This is a unique lighthouse. It's shape is very unusual. There is a charming tea room , as well as an opportunity to explore the lighthouse. The property is also well worth the trip. The scenery is fantastic.

We have a thing for light houses, and the Cape Forchu Lightstation has nice grounds to walk on, lots of places to sit and enjoy the view. Don't forget to visit the small museum at the gift-shop/restaurant which is worth the visit.

This is one lighthouse that is really worth visiting. The ride out to the lighthouse takes about 15 minutes and is very scenic. The lighthouse and property are very well maintained and the museum is very interesting. We enjoyed this more than Peggy's Cove.
