“Great night”
Reviewed 3 August 2014

4 of us were traveling to New Brunswick and as 11pm came around we decided to stop for the night. we seen the tidal bore and pulled in. Staff were nice and helpful and within minutes we were in our room. Room was clean but a bit out dated. We had a microwave and fridge which was nice, beds were okay. Its a nice hotel that could use a bit of updating but for the price its well worth the night. overall we had a good experience at the tidal bore. I would stay again and recommend to others.

We stayed one night on the way from Cape Breton to Yarmouth. It is very easy to find and has simple access to the highway. Check in was smooth and the room had 2 double beds with a small table and chair. There was also a microwave and small bar fridge. The bathroom vanity is outside the bathroom, leaving just the toilet and enclosed shower in one room.

The tv was an older one, but it was fine to watch. The beds were fairly hard, with no cushion top to make it softer. The weather had been beautiful (warm), so the room was quite warm, with no air conditioning. There was a screened window and a floor fan to help, but the only way anything could work was if we had left the curtains open for the air to try to move through --- we were on the ground floor, so we decided not to have everyone (the noisy, slightly rude neighbors who sprayed bug spray right outside our screen - thanks for the lingering smell) watch us sleep. It was a warm sleep, unfortunately.

The motel itself is fairly clean and convenient at a reasonable price. Just be aware, that if it is hot, there is no air conditining.

It was a fine stay for the purpose we needed - an overnight while traveling.

Great hotel to use as a base for site seeing in the area. Great value for your money and was very, very clean.
Owners are very accommodating, we were booked here during Hurricane Arthur and the owners went above and beyond to help us. Much appreciated...

Very nostalgic. We were on vacation with our child and dog. We arrived late in the night and left early in the morning... We still received a very warm welcome and friendly faces from our hosts.
Very convenient in that it is just off the highway. Air conditioning would be a good add-on.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Inn. The hosts are amazing, so helpful and friendly, nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The beds are comfortable and the complimentary wifi works well. If you have a ground floor room you can park outside your room. The view from the hotel is great! Fantastic value for money!

Our group stayed here for two nights recently. This is an older building however both of the rooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable. We would definitely stay here again the next time in the area.

The Tidal Bore Inn offers clean, comfortable rooms at a very good price. Family run and it shows. It's a good place to stop on the drive to Halifax from New Brunswick or PEI. Just about an hour north of Halifax.
