Our stay with Cheryl was perfect. She is a wonderful hostess, cook and gardener. Her Victorian home is lovely, welcoming and extremely comfortable. We loved her delicious, generous breakfasts which included her homemade bread, strawberry jam and delicious egg dishes and more. She prepares delicious fresh fruit and yogurt, coffee, tea, juice--too many goodies to list. She even makes her own maple syrup to go with pancakes. This is the perfect place to stay for the Cabot Trail and the ferry to Newfoundland.

Room Tip: All of Cheryl's rooms are lovely, quiet and comfortable. There is a large family suite upstairs.

We had the great good fortune of staying with Cheryl for three evenings in May,
and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Cheryl is a friendly, caring hostess, who makes you
makes you feel welcome and goes out of her way to make you feel at ease and comfortable.
Her breakfasts are filling and tasty, and served in an absolutely gorgeous dining room -- on
dishes and crystal which are outstanding. A fine way to start you day -- you just want to stay
there, enjoy coffee from the beautiful, classic silver coffee pot, and chat. Our room was spacious
and comfortable -- we slept soundly. Be sure to just walk through Cheryl's home -- it will bring
you back to another time, when everything was nice. As you may gather, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Cheryl -- and plan to return in September. Fred and Marion.

This is an impressive Victorian home, beautifully decorated, and full of exquisite collections of antiques and just the right touches. Our room was beautiful, clean, comfortable, spacious, and well-appointed. There was lots of room for our stuff, along with comfortable chairs for reading or relaxing, and the bed was great. Breakfasts were delicious with a generous variety of food served in an elegant setting. Cheryl is friendly, gracious and down to earth. and modest about the treasure of a home she shares. It is a gorgeous B&B that feels luxurious and elegant but still comfortable. We had an absolutely lovely time, and will definitely stay here again whenever we return to the area.

Room Tip: We were just 2 people in Room # 3, but this room would work well for a family of 3 or 4 people, as i...

This restored 130 year old house is decorated with period antiques and decor. The linens are hand ironed, and the breakfast is lavish and delicious. Nice, quiet place to stay. Cheryl, the proprietor is great and will make you feel welcome. We'll be back.

My husband and I stayed at Chambers this week and were delighted with the warm hospitality and accommodations. Cheryl's breakfasts had such variety that it was sometimes hard to choose amongst her many selections. We would highly recommend this b & b.

We were forced to find shelter at the last minute due to bad weather. I cannot stress enough how wonderful it was to see Cheryl's smiling face greeting us. As we stood soaking wet on her floor in her beautiful home we were made to feel so welcome. We were shown to our room immediately so we could get out of our wet clothes and hot drinks were offered right away. I am often sceptical when I read such glowing revues but have to fear everyones reviews posted here are true. The breakfast was fantastic, The conversations with Cheryl were wonderfull(feel free to ask about the history of the house). We cannot wait to have the oppertunity to return.

The service - outstanding, the decor - incredible with stunning antiques & savvy decorating, breakfast - served with a warm smile in a formal dining room with crystal, china and silverware, delicious with such variety and scrumptious baking and dainties,
the B&B - so comfortable, you feel right at home in an instant, the garden - enchanting with blue hydrangeas, stone walkways, wrap-around veranda, shade trees, butterflies and songbirds: truly who could ask for anything more. Thank you so much Cheryl (and your mom). We hope to come back.
