I was lucky to find this quaint hotel on the Fundy side of Nova Scotia. I found many Bed & Breakfasts in this coastal region but not may hotels. B&Bs often have a 7-day advance cancellation policy in the summer. Since my plans were uncertain, I was more comfortable booking with the Best Western with a 3-day cancellation policy.

This BW has 23 units. The beds were fluffy with plenty of pillows - almost heaven. The a/c works great. Get this...a complimentary Keurig coffee maker in the room including teas and hot chocolate. Refrigerator in the room. I usually spend only 5 minutes in the shower....20 minutes this time. The variable shower head and the toiletries where relaxing. Then there is the on-premises dining room. Includes local fish and tasty vegetables.

Joey at the front desk was most helpful with getting settled in the room and giving local directions.

I am sure that I am missing something but come visit this hotel and discover your own treasures. Oh yes, late breakfast....until 10:30 am.- I don't do breakfasts as I don't do mornings but after dinner and a later breakfast time...I'll be there at 10 am!

A definite surprise perk - across from a Tim Horton's!

At check-in the attendant was very friendly; however, we could've done with only one anecdote about stays elsewhere, rather than two or three. This is a standard style of motor lodge on the outside, though the rooms inside are nicely decorated. The room was clean, and the bed offered a good night's sleep. Nothing exceptional about the room, but certainly no drawbacks either. The air conditioner was running full blast when we arrived, which was understandable as the summer sun was beating against the door. However, as the humid day turned into a mild evening, we turned off the AC and opened the windows. The dining room was closed in the evening, but we had already planned on eating at Ta Do Palace, a wonderful restaurant located nearby by that serves Chinese, Thai and Vietnamese cuisine. The next morning we enjoyed the complimentary breakfast provided in the dining room. Nothing fancy, which suited us. All in all we had a very satisfactory stay.

Room Tip: We had a room at the end of the building farthest from the street, and it was fairly quiet there. Th...

I was happy with the rooms and restaurant but was disappointed with the internet it was slow and sometimes did not work. It seemed like an average motel one level and really nothing to do there. Not much room in the double rooms and it was noisy because of the four way stop just down the street.

The staff is what made our stay at the Best Western Aurora Inn so pleasant. They were very friendly and helpful. The room itself is very basic, but clean. With Tropical Storm Arthur approaching, the power went out for a bit in the early morning, but it was back on for breakfast.

Check in went smoothly room was ready on time - the hotel is really a motel - all rooms are drive up - the rooms have a good size and the beds were very comfortable - and two queens rather than two doubles - TV is decent size and reasonable selection - shower has good water pressure - and had the very same shower heads as most holiday inns -- no night light in the bathroom and the light and the fan were on the same light switch - I did not like the coat hangers on the closet - though as they are built in - you cant take them off the rod so you cant hang them anywhere else -- restaurant in the building only has supper and sunday brunch - did not try the food this time - though was there a couple of years ago and it was very good -- left behind a pair of shorts - the hotel called my cell hours after I checked out to advise me and hold on to it until I returned later in the day to pick them up - overall a decent stay and a decent price - was able to get a one hour late check out with no problems at all -- would stay there again when in the area

This motel is a little gem. The rooms were spotless and the beds were very comfortable. The staff was excellent and they did everything they could to make sure we had everything we needed. They were friendly and efficient. They even called my cell and sent me an email to say that we had left something behind. I have never had that happen at any other hotel.

A comfortable, pet friendly motel with good amenities such as free wifi , onsite restaurant , nice grounds . Close to local shopping and activities We stay a couple of times a year while visiting family.Friendly staff always try to accommodate special requests such as early check in. Nice restaurant nearby called the Green Elephant Cafe which serves a tasty all day breakfast and every kind of tea and locally roasted coffee known to man. Lots of walking trails and little parks and not too far to the Bay of Fundy .
