“Superlative”
Reviewed 26 March 2013

It's always satisfying when you can identify something as the "best ever". In that regard, the artistic finish of the foam on top of my wife's mocha was the most aesthetically pleasing of any coffee either of us had ever had (which, frankly, is a lot of coffee). Since we only stopped in for a mid-afternoon break between Whistler and Vancouver, I can't say how their savoury food might be. The walnut cheesecake, however, was excellent. The staff were friendly without being fawning, and the decor was just funky enough to assure us that we weren't in one of the chain coffee places that we rely on for most of our caffeine.

Really good food in a funky setting. Hard to believe it's healthy. My go to place on the way to Whistler.

“Great healthy choices”
Reviewed 5 March 2013

Zephyr does a great job at offering healthy options to cafe style food and desserts. The atmosphere is comfortable and the service friendly, though you do pay for all of it. Price is on the high side for a "cafe"

“Great find!”
Reviewed 27 January 2013

Zephyr cafe was a great find for lunch before we checked into our hotel. It's a funky artsy sort of place on the main street. They have some great healthy meal and snack options, including organic, vegetarian, vegan, or raw and great coffee and tea. You order and pay at the counter and then they bring it to you. I had the felafel wrap which came with a some tortilla chips and more other half had a salmon chowder soup and a chicken wrap. Service was great and both meals were tasty. Including a latte, kombucha tea, and tax the bill was $35, which seemed a tad high. We would have loved to have a monster power cookie as well but couldn't justify spending $5 for one. We will return to the Zephyr again and will recommend it to others.

“Stunning views from a local place”
Reviewed 28 October 2012

We stopped here on the way from Vancouver to Squamish. Trendy-comfortable atmosphere (local art was on sale on the walls) with stunning views. We dropped by end of October so can't tell if there's typically outdoor seating - way too chilly for that. It should be noted that this place is definitely meant for the health conscious, particularly those who are vegetarian/vegan. I'm not vegetarian and came here based on the good reviews from TripAdvisor and because my companion is vegetarian. I tried the Veggie Burger, but didn't like it too much; it tasted bland to me. The apple berry crisp was a delight though and totally made the meal. Service was friendly. Two main dishes, a coffee each and a shared dessert, our total bill was approx $40 pre-tax. Overall, I would come back but try something else as a main meal.
