Great pool. Beautiful scenery. Comfy rooms well equipped. Had a wonderful stay. Great Sunday buffet for breakfast. Kids really enjoyed themselves by the poolside rooms. It's great. And easy access to the rooms from the car. So no packing bags down a long hallway. It's perfect.

We stayed here one night when we were making our way back home after driving across BC. I reserved before we left home 'just in case' as it was a fairly busy week with various national holidays.

We arrived around 4ish and checked in. We were placed in the older motel looking building out back. Meh..didn't look like much but it was just one night. I took a look at the rooms in the main hotel area and they look much brighter and larger than the room we had. Our room was decent though, and it was nice to have a balcony looking over the amazing pool. The room had the basics, was clean and the beds were comfortable, although it was a bit small and on the darker side.

We were trying to decide what to do as we had a long day of driving but didn't feel quite ready for dinner. We went down to the restaurant thinking we'd get just a drink and appies (the pool area wasn't licensed when we were there, although it sounded like they were in the process of getting it licensed?), and then go back for dinner later. But we were asked if we had reservations for later, which we didn't, so they suggested we stay for an early dinner. We did. The food was pretty good, although the prices were quite expensive, especially for a hotel restaurant that just off the highway (ie. not in a downtown area). I know it would've been a short drive to go elsewhere but the thought of getting back in the car in the hot weather was just not something we wanted to do. We enjoyed our meal, and were happy that breakfast was included in our room prices to help offset the costs. :-) Breakfast the next day was pretty good as well.. the only complaint was they ran out of coffee soon after we got there and it took a long time to have another pot available.

The pool was fabulous.. a good size, lots of seating both in sun and shade, and just a very nice area. We were there during a heat wave and it was lovely to sit by the pool and read. It would've been great to be able to enjoy a cool drink there too.

We stayed here just two weeks ago for two nights. My husband myself and our dog. (We don't go anywhere without our dog) This was our first stop on our BC circle tour. Calgary to Vancouver on Highway 1 and back on Highway 3 stopping along the way with a maximum 5 hour drive between stops. It did take 6 hours to get here but WOW! This place was so relaxing and it had everything, we did not want to leave, I could have stayed here for our entire 11 nights vacation. The cleaning staff were friendly, the front desk was friendly and so were all of the other guests. The king size bed was comfy and the bathroom and shower was tiled and clean. The best part was the pools area and the surrounding gardens and the whole experience is one I want to have again and again. Even the weather was perfect but be warned that if you go our on a long walk to try to get to the lake, take water with you as its very hot here. The little town was very nice too!. Great place, for a family with kids or as a couple. You also get a nice breakfast thrown in.

Room Tip: If you like to sit around the pool and swim or read, and take you kids too, or your dog, then this p...

Large, clean, quiet room which was perfect for a family of four. Reserved room while on the road a few hours before. No problems checking in. Restaurant was pretty decent. Enjoyed the crab tortellini. 'Hand of God Stout' was an excellent beer. Our waitress was more than accommodating. We were getting on the road before breakfast started the next day so she made up a breakfast package for us, to put in our room fridge. Outdoor pool area is very 'resort-like' and roomy (you're not banging into others). Overall, a great stay!!!

BEWARE! YOUR RESERVATION MAY NOT BE AN ACTUAL RESERVATION -- We actually never had a chance to stay at this hotel because when we tried to book, we were asked for our phone number to call us back because there was a 'lineup' and then when my call was finally returned, I wasn't available to take the call. When I called back, the room they had was now gone. Even though many websites still showed availability, so, I booked online! Luckily I phoned the day after to make sure my reservation was good, I was told that in fact they did not have any rooms and they weren't able to help me in any way. SO, if planning to stay at this hotel, make sure you actually have a room and you don't arrive to find out that you do not.

We stopped here to break up a longer trip, but we'll make this a destination from now on. The staff was nice, the room excellent, and the dinner and breakfast (included, which is rare in Canada) were wonderful. The pools were well kept-up and the scenery on-site was lovely.
