This used to be a fantastic little place..until it changed hands. Now the food is horrible, and the service is worse than the food

This is a great place to go for bacon and eggs. The staff is very friendly and the food is good. They have lots of specials and good prices.

By reading some of the other reviews I either went to the wrong place, or we differ significantly on what constitutes a good buffet... or for that case, food that is suitable for human consumption. The mashed potatoes were stuck brown to the hotel pan, the gravy had a coat of suede an 1/8 of an inch thick, the green beans were straight out of a can and floating in some suspect watery soup, the greasy onion rings had never seen a salt grain, the sausages needed a hacksaw to get through the casings, and there was some square flat thing in an oversweet ketchup-BBQ sauce that I think was supposed to be pork but it might have been beef, or sponge, or some other inorganic material. This was the first buffet in years that I couldn't force myself to go back up to after the first smallish plate was done. It would have gotten a Terrible rating were it not for the fact that the waitress was a nice lady and I'm sure she had nothing to do with what is supposed to pass for food on that miserable excuse for a buffet... which is twelve bucks to boot and that makes it about eleven dollars too expensive for what you get!
