“Fantastic !”

We stayed for 9 days in January and found Sutton Place hard to fault . Helpful staff, upgrade on arrival, spacious clean room , great uncrowded mountain and easy access to town via mini bus to town.
The kids ski school underneath sutton place was excellent with skilful instructors and evening activities for children. We can't wait to return.

While I enjoyed our visit, there are a few things that I wish had been addressed prior to our arrival, or at the time(s) I contacted the hotel to discuss options available.

My boyfriend & I booked the Savour Revelstoke package which includes a complimentary upgrade at time of check in to the next room type (which I think we got, not entirley sure as we booked a Studio and ended up in a Studio which I was told was larger than other Studio's). On top of the room upgrade you got to pick one of the following: complimentary breakfast in the restaurant or in your room, complimentary parking or complimentary early check in / late checkout ... We were not given any options, parking was given complimentary, breafkast was a boxed breafkast as since this is their slow season the resturant was only open for dinner, and we didn't need the early/late check in/out. The service in the hotel resturant for dinner was fabulous, our server Haymish was outstanding, if it wasn't for him I can honestly stay our trip review would not have had any positive points.

All in all the rooms were nice ans spacious, but again I was looking forward to sipping wine in the wine bar (whcih is closed), enjoying room service breakfast (not possible since the restaurant was closed), and would have been nice to have a view since the hotel was apparently dead we ended up in a room with a view onto a courtyard and other balconies, no mountain view at all.

My husband and I drove from Vancouver to Revelstoke 5/10/13. We arrived around 8:00 P.M. and found out we had been upgraded to a one bedroom suite. The view and the room was exceptional. We had requested a later check out time and was told that would not be a problem. We highly recommend.

In October 2012 we were looking for a place to get away for my birthday, decided to try Revelstoke Mountain...we basically had the place to ourselves and we got a room upgrade without even asking! Beautiful room, beautiful view, so relaxing!

My skiing buddy and I stumbled across this absolute gem on our way back to Kelowna. At the last minute we decided to drive north instead of our planned trip on the southern route thru Rosalind.

With the warmer temperatures we figured Revelstoke would have better snow conditions due to the higher elevation. So we arrived in Revelstoke with no hotel accommodations on a Saturday.

The Sutton Place is right on hill. The staff were incredibly welcoming. There was a free wine & cheese reception. Rooms were 4 star plus. Restaurant attached to the hotel had an excellent menu. Hot tub was the nicest hot tub I have ever been in.

There i absolutely no question that we are coming back to this property in the future. In fact, it will be a destination trip as this place was FANTASTIC

Room Tip: Ask for facing the hill if you want a great view. If you are a light sleeper, avoid a room facing th...

Hi, we have stayed here a couple of times now, most reply April 2013 and find it to be a great place to stay. We always take our two dogs and everyone is very welcoming to us and them, there are no stupid forms to sign about not leaving them in the room and not taking them into various areas of the hotel. They realize that 99% of pet owners are responsible adults who have lots of common sense and are grateful to be able to bring their pets along.
The concierge staff here are great, particularly the young man from New Brunswick. He was friendly, chatty, helpful and just a great person all around.
This hotel could rest on its laurels as it is currently the only place on the ski hill but it doesn't and for that it should be commended. Only wish some of the Whistler hotels could take a lesson from this place. We will be back.
