Nothing to complain about, here! The 'cabin' is a neat 1-bedroom suite attached to the main house. Decor is simple, functional, and tasteful. The bed is quite comfortable, and the sofa bed drew no complaints. Breakfast foods are stocked in the kitchenette-- fruit, bread, boxed cereals, yogurt, local milk, tea, coffee (incl. decaf!) and hot chocolate powder, all good.
The cabin has a covered parking spot, and wi-fi Internet access. One feature that may present problems to certain travellers is that the suite is up a flight of stairs. It's a quiet location on the edge of town (only 5 minutes by car to the center). The hosts, Nicole and Dave are very friendly and hospitable. It's worth noting that they cheerfully made special care for a guest with a food allergy.

I booked a last-minute stay at Powder Pillow for my drive home from Vancouver to Edmonton. Nicole happened to have an opening that night, and it worked out perfectly. From her tour of the apartment to my hot spa-like shower after a long drive, to a wonderful sleep in a clean and cozy room and complete with breakfast the next morning and getting to hang out a bit with Nicole and her adorable little boy, it was a wonderful experience. I even got to check out a movie at the local theatre and have a drink at a local hangout, getting a real flavour for little Revelstoke :) I'm not a winter sports person, but my husband saw the website and can't wait to book a couple of nights there for a ski weekend sometime soon!

Nicole (and her mum) greeted us on arrival. Although the room (actually 2 rooms) is upstairs, once the stairs were negotiated with the luggage we were able to settle in quickly. Nicole came over to make sure we had everything we needed.
There was a lounge, TV, dining table and chairs and a small kitchenette (from memory). The bedroom was separate and the bed was comfortable so we had a good sleep both nights we were there. The bathroom had just the BEST shower! The bugs were prolific but the meshed windows largely kept them at bay.
We had very warm days and the unit only had ceiling fans for cooling. That was a minor downside which we got accustomed to quickly.
Overall, it was one of the best B&B's we stayed in in Canada during a 7 week trip. Thanks Nicole for a great stay!

Stayed at the Powder Pillow B&B in Revelstoke and had an amazing time. Located a few minutes from the main township in a lovely residential area. The self contained unit is extremley large and generous, lovely modern interior with very large shower and super comfy bed....slept like babies!!! Free wireless internet and off street parking and lovely continental breakfast all provided. Nicole and Dave were fantastic hosts. If you have the chance to stay here we would highly recommend this B & B

We spent a lovely two days at the Powder Pillow B&B. Unfortunately Nicole and her family were away during our stay but the suite was equipped with everything we needed to enjoy our time in this lovely town. The rooms are very spacious and nicely furnished. A great deal of attention has gone into the details in this unit, including lots of extra towels, a large walk-in shower and well-stocked kitchen. Our breakfast "kit" included a loaf of fresh bread, cinnamon buns to be baked in the toast oven, yogurt, milk, juice, tea, coffee, lots of fresh fruit (including fresh picked strawberries) and assorted cereals.
This unit does not have a full kitchen(no stove, mini-fridge) but a beautiful BBQ is available if you want to cook dinner.

The only comment I would make, is that this suite is a bit of a drive from the centre of town and is located in a residential area so if you don't have a vehicle or don't want to drive for services, etc then you might not want to stay here.

We did a great walk at the top of Mount Revelstoke, swam at Williamson Lake (just down the street), and had great meals at the Village Idiot and Bad Paul's Pub. We also really enjoyed the evening concerts in the town centre each night.

Powder Pillow B&B made for a wonderful stay. Located so close to RMR (only 5 min by car) and 5 min from the centre of town it is situated perfectly for those looking to enjoy the mountain and the wonderful town of Revelstoke. Nicole, Dave and little Spencer were wonderful hosts going the extra mile to provide excellent service & a welcoming environment. I look forward to returning to Powder Pillow as soon as possible!!!
