This is a very nice hotel, the room is big and the bed is very comfortable. It is just a walk away from the Revelstoke Golf Course. Breakfast is included in the price and it was good. The front desk staff is very nice and helpful and they are offering golf and stay packages. I will not hesitate to come again.

When travelling in western North America, we have usually found Best Western properties to be beyond average and usually excellent. This relatively new property in Revelstoke is no exception. The other most recent reviews described the hotel accurately - the rooms are nicely appointed except for the dim lighting, the breakfast was quite good but watch out for the bus tours (while we were there a bus tour descended on the breakfast area and cleaned it out like a flock of ravens at a roadkill), there is a booze store attached to the hotel and the staff we met were very friendly and courteous.
We really appreciated the laundry and fitness facilities. The laundry consists of a new front-load washer and dryer that does not require coins or tokens - you just have to provide you own detergent (available at the liquor store). After a week of travelling, the ease of doing laundry was much appreciated. The fitness facility is a bit small but provides all the basic equipment to get good work out if climbing the nearby hills are not enough exercise.
We were there in early May between the ski/snowboard crowd and the summer traffic so it was not too busy (apart from the ravenous bus tour) but the hotel appears to be large enough to handle the crowds. We negotiated a good rate with the desk clerk but in peak season that likely isn't an option.

Room Tip: We had a room on the top floor towards the back of the hotel - it had easy access to the stairs and...

The Best Western Plus at Revelstoke was comfortable and clean and the staff were always eager to please. However we found that our room was dimly lit which made it difficult to do anything after dark other than watch TV. Breakfast was thrown in as part of the deal and there were a couple of cereals, juice, waffles and the cooked food was over done especially the eggs which were always like rubber. For the price it was definitely over cooked!

We spent a night there in March 2012 as the Trans Canada highway was closed between Revelstoke and Golden, B.C. Our room had a very comfortable king sized bed. The hotel is relatively new, it is clean and quiete. A good complimentary breakfast is available. Their best rental rates are too high, however.

Excellent stay here for a two day Ski trip to Revelstoke Mountain Resort. It's only one year new, so very modern with European decor. Room is large, very comfy beds with nice duvets and big cushy pillows. Two outdoor hot tubs were great for after a day of skiing. The complimentary breakfast even included eggs. Fantastic coffee from a local coffee company (nice touch). We will stay here again :)

Overview: This 1-year old, 4-storey hotel has a modern boutique feel and is a great addition to the Revelstoke scene. It is located slightly outside the downtown core, but is still within reasonable walking distance, or is about a 2-minute car ride. It's in a quiet area but still has quick access to the Trans Canada highway. Rates are slightly higher than other hotels in the area, but in my opinion are well worth it based on the quality, amenities and inclusions. We found all the staff were a pleasure to deal with - front desk staff were quick, efficient, friendly and knowledgeable and happy to make recommendations for restaurants, spas, etc. The housekeeping and kitchen staff were also a happy and efficient group of young ladies, who provided great service.

Rooms: We booked 3 rooms (2 deluxe king 222 and 422 and one double queen 425) and stayed for 4 nights. The deluxe rooms were bright corner units, with king beds, very roomy and included a small sofa and chair in a separate sitting area. The queen room was also a generous size, but without the sitting area. All bathrooms were well lit, had lots of counter space, provided decent quality bath products and a generous glassed in shower (no tub). Beds and pillows were very comfortable, heating and a/c were quiet and all rooms included a safe large enough to easily hold a mac notebook, camera, wallets, etc. Other in-room items included a small fridge, microwave, coffee maker, ironing board, and generous closet with enough hangars.

Hotel Amenities: A complimentary, full buffet breakfast was available between 6-10am. A wide variety of hot and cold items included sausage or bacon, eggs, fresh-from-the-kitchen muffins, waffles, etc. Also available were a small business center with two internet-ready computers, a laundry room, small but well-equipped fitness room with tv, an outdoor pool (not used in the winter) and two generous hot tubs which were available from mid-afternoon to early evening. There was also a change room with pool towels, and a washroom right off the pool area. Two complimentary shuttle busses are available from the hotel. The first runs from the hotel to the Revelstoke ski area at 8:30am and returns at 3:30pm. A second shuttle runs from the hotel to the Regent Hotel in the downtown area at 6:00pm. Return runs are available, but check with the front desk, because this downtown shuttle does not run every day. There is a very handy liquor/beer/convenience store located just off the lobby and the hotel also has security staff patrolling the parking lot overnight to ensure that the snowmobilers' assets are protected. (Yes, this is a safe area!)

Hints & Tips: Ask the breakfast girls for a cappucino or latte. When booking, ask for a CAA discount. Fine dining in a downtown casual atmosphere - try Woolsey Creek Cafe. Good pizza or salad bar in casual family-style restaurant close to hotel - try Zala's. Looking for a good Aveda spa - try The Refinery Day Spa and Salon.

New hotel with spacious rooms. Good bed matresses to sleep well after a full day of skiing. Breakfast OK. Rooms quite use a little bit more lights. It is quite dark in the room, once the sun is down. But still acceptable. Two hot tubs outside which we did not use. It is not in walking distance to down town. We would book again.
Regards and good bye
