“Standard Motel, Well done”

Expensive for a standard motel offering, but that seemed par for the course in BC. Clean and welcoming, Quite a long march into downltown area, but worth doing. The Rail museum is also worth an hour or two. Good breakfast offering.

Just stayed here for our overnight stop on the way home. We stayed in the king room upstairs and it was really nice! The bed is super comfortable and nice linens and the bathroom is updated and has heated floor. The room felt more luxurious than I was expecting! And we got to make our own hot fresh waffles in the morning which was fun! Great little place with decent prices.

lWe loved crisp fresh white linens. Very good bed. Excellent tiled modern clean shower, superb faucets, fan with timer. Breakfast included waffles! Wifi perfect. Fridge took our 1 ltr water bottles and lots space in it. Revelstoke is all about trains. You willl hear trains in revelstoke. Room small cosy but a great stop. Coupon for one free use of town aquatic centre.

Room Tip: Ask for one not by the road. You will heat people upstairs so if you don't mind one floor up the...

We spent one night at Swiss Chalet. The room had recently been refurbished and was very comfortable with a huge bed. The hotel is near the railway line but this did not cause us any problems. The self-service breakfast was a welcome bonus

very clean and tidy, well maintained property. staff was nice, we were able to use the microwave in the dining room until 11pm or so. breakfast was just as good, at least our 2.5 yr old had enough varieties to choose from, but the sitting area was a little small.. luckily a wonderful couple invited us to share their table! the 2.5 yr old loved to watch the trains passing by... eventually he got tired of it; there were too many! personally i didn't much mind the trains, at least they did a good enough job sound proof the rooms. but i would have liked a brighter room.

Room Tip: if you absolutely can't tolerate train noise, choose elsewhere. but you'll be missing a clea...

We picked this hotel because it was reasonably priced and we were just travelling through. The rooms are basic and small but very clean and tidy. It was exactly what we needed. It may have been a little cramped if we were staying longer. We have a baby so we had to squeeze our playpen into the room and could only do so by moving the table and chairs.

The breakfast was adequate - self serve cereals, waffles etc. We enjoyed it as there were a number of interesting people to meet in the breakfast room.

The trains are noisy so if this bothers you it is probably not a good choice. It did cause us any issues. We'd stay here again if driving through.

The room was cute, immaculately clean and furnished, and comfortable. Breakfast was served in the morning which was ok, but probably the best of all the motels we stayed in!

Although we could hear the railway line outside, and were woken up once by a very loud train, overall the noise wasn't too bad. The motel was good value and we'd stay here again if we were in the area!
