This is a great local fun and energetic day of skill and entertainment. This is something every family should do regardless of age, young and old as long as you can walk. And it is so fresh in the big beautiful trees.

“Weird and a step back in time”
Reviewed 3 September 2013

This place has it all and I am sure it was hip some 20 years or so ago.
Today it is like stepping into a place that time forgot - which is not a bad thing at all. You do not feel the urge to look at your smartphone as you immediately feel back in a time when no such thing existed.
We walked through the whole forest and even ventured out in the boat on what probably was a lake - again some 20 years ago - today it is not even a pond nature has reclaimed the water for a swamp.
Great interesting and weird place..

“Pleasant surprise”
Reviewed 29 August 2013

We took our 6 and 3 year old daughters expecting to see some roughly hewn tourist trap and found the scenery and trails to be both surprisingly expansive but also very well maintained. The attractions for the kids were very well received if only a bit small for me and the extra trails, boardwalks, and boats were something that was an unexpected treat. I'd originally planned on the stop being 30-45 minutes and we ended up leaving shortly past the 3 hour mark. Felt the value was fantastic, the facilities exceeded my expectations and the entire facility to be very well constructed and thought out. We left with two tired very happy little girls, that's a tough challenge for most attractions!
