This short boardwalk is a gem just off the Trans Canada Highway. We stopped in the early morning and had the place to ourselves. Peaceful walk through the majestic Cedars. The air was so sweet that you took extra breaths with every step.

“Nice Easy Forest Trail”
Reviewed 11 August 2014

A short and easy trail in Mt. Revelstoke National Park. It's on a boardwalk, which was a nice change from the rocky trails we'd done earlier in the day. Beautiful trees here of good size.

“Magical little park!”
Reviewed 5 August 2014

We stopped at the trail during the August long weekend. It was a stop on our way to Revelstoke and a good opportunity to stretch our legs. There are washrooms as well.

When you enter the boardwalk it looks like something out of a fairy tale. It's extremely green, the leaves near the ground are huge and the trees reach way up into the sky. Some of the cedars are huge and it's Enchanting to say the least.

The trail makes a nice little loop, with great little tidbits of information along the way. Once we got to the end we actually turned around and headed back through again. After a satisfying walk we stopped at one of the many wooden picnic tables and ate a quick snack that we had brought along.

“Can't see the wood for the trees!”
Reviewed 5 August 2014

We took the opportunity to stop on the way to Salmon Arm - wanted to hug a tree! The trees were too big to hug, and boy were they impressive. The walk was a very ease boarded trail through a unique cedar forrest, with trees over 500 years old. Excellent! But best to have insect repellent to hand as the critters are everywhere.
