I had a great time skiing this mountain, lots of variety in runs (terrain/difficulty), and wasn't snowed out at all! A lot more free powder and space than resorts further east. Definitely recommend!

“Hands down best snowboarding iv done”
Reviewed 7 April 2014

This place is magical, the moment you put down your first turn you know the snow is different. The mountain has amazing groomer trails if your looking to warm up or just work on the basics, but this place is renowned for there POW! (freshly fallen snow). iv been to Whistler, Mount Washington and local hills in ontario and nothing compares! The back country of this mountain which is in bounds(most of it) is by far the most beautiful scenery iv witnessed with an annual dump of 40-60 ft of snow! The hill has the highest vertical in north america and you can tell this once u finish your day and take the 20 min ride down the hill!!!! loved it ill be back

WE can not say enough good things about this Sutton Owned Resort!! We always stay at The Sutton in Vancouver and this resort is just as wonderful!! The Customer service is excellent, the rooms were modern and clean, the pool facilities were great and the gondola was awesome and the brunch on top of the mountain was quite tasty!! They are always so great with the kids and we got an upgrade each visit without even asking!! We will definitely be back!!

Only skied in Europe before this trip. Unbelievable powder - locally known as POW! Wonderfully long ski runs, lots of skiing in the tree line. No queuing for the lifts, sometimes we were the only skiers on the run! The only thing missing was mountain restaurants for a bit of Après ski. Just one restaurant at mid station which was more like a school canteen, then a couple at the bottom of the resort. Of course this could be due to the extreme temperature. COLD! But don't be fooled, you're wrapped up,really well against the cold which is great on the chairlift but once you start that downhill, powder ski you're wishing you'd put on less layers! Wonderful.

Stay above the Gondola for spring skiing and you will still find that glorious sweet powder stashed away for you to find! It seems to be always snowing at those high altitutes, and the snow in this area often falls like a blanket, soft and sweet, giant flakes with little wind. I cannot say enough about the world class glades! The sun was often trying to peek through during our stay! Absolutely beautiful, and a treat to enjoy the new and speedy lifts and super fast gondola! I recommend staying in town if you have a car as the resort is a 5 minute drive from anywhere. You won't regret visiting Revelstoke!
