“A visit to the farm with a little wine and cheese”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 October 2013

We stopped into Mooberry Winery for a chance to try some wine and check out the cheese factory. What we found was a trip to the farm. The winery is set at the end of a lane in Parksville and is set up very nicely for a farm visit. It starts with going by the old log cabin and then moves around to rabbit pens, chickens, the barn with cattle and other animals. there is a cheese factory to check out but better yet to taste samples in the store. the little store also houses their collect of fruit wines (no grape based wines here). It is a small touristy store with lots of trinkets and stuff for kids. The cheese is good, the wine is nice. This is a good spot for a short drop in visit.

“Fun”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 September 2012

Mooberry makes wine and cheese. The wine is all from berries. They have a wide variety of offerings and you can taste them for free. The same goes for the cheese. The lady helping us was very friendly and we enjoyed tasting both the cheese and wine. There is something for everyone! We ended up buying a few bottles of wine and a lovely soft cheese with raspberry. It was yummy. We ate it on crackers and apple slices. Mooberry also makes an award winning brie. If you have about 60 75 minutes, and want somewhere to go close to Parksville, this is an interesting and enjoyable place to visit.
