The upper floor of this Museum houses a permanent display of Nelson and the surrounding areas beginning with the first nations people, gold rush and further development of Nelson. It had great photos of the mining days (silver, copper, gold etc) with explanations of the various mines etc. It provided a glimpse into what Nelson was like at the turn of the century and for the next 100 years! Great lace to find out what it's really all about.
