A lovely spot for an unrushed breakfast. We sat in one of the sidewalk tables with our baby and three-year-old, who got some crayons and a colouring sheet.

The "huevos rancheros" was great with chorizo, two actual sunny-side up eggs, salsa fresca. They have some fun Benedicts here that are outside of the box. The Godfather is a yummy benedict with prosciutto, tomato, and arugula pesto. The three-year-old got one egg and some bacon.

All dishes came with some fresh fruit which earns high marks in my books. Coffee and water top-ups were efficient and frequent.

I would definitely come back to try lunch and dinner as well.

The food was pretty good and the waitress was very pleasant. Service was extremely slow although they seemed to have adequate staff. We sat outside as it was a very pleasant evening.

Our friends recommended we dine at Whitetooh and we are so happy we did. To find "foodie" food in Golden was a wonderful surprise. The BC wine list was extensive and varied in price. We each had an appetizer, entree, dessert (husband) and bottle of wine and our bill came to only $120. We could easily have spent $200 if we were dining in Edmonton. The prices are inexpensive for the quality of food. We had great service and didn't find the restaurant short staffed.

Another couple stayed at the same B&B as us suggested eating at Eleven22. The menu didn't look appealing to us - more like an Earls, Joey Tomatoes, Cactus Club type of food.

I wouldn't necessarily say the atmosphere is romantic at Whitetooth, but if you want a great dinner, sit back and drink a bottle of Generation 8 Pinot Noir (2010) and relax after your day, THIS IS THE PLACE!

I would NOT bring kids here though.....

Nice menu but service was very slow. Burger was great but the yam fries were underdone - a shame as they would have been nice! Good drinks menu - I had a great cocktail!

We went to this restaurant based on the great reviews on TripAdvisor. What can I possibly add?

Service was great, not rushed. Decor was modern. The restaurant had families with children, couples and dinner parties ---seating for all. Their wine list was decent, and per glass prices are in line with their bottle pricing. We had the special of the day (elk bourguignon $27) and the dessert (sticky toffee pudding $9), both excellent by both taste and presentation.

Yes, the prices are a bit more upscale than a pub or a Smitty's. If you want something less pricey, the locals recommended The Island.
