“Free upgrade but very noisy”
Reviewed 7 January 2013

Received a free upgrade. Very good staff. Room was great very cozy. Late night noise from younger patrons and return from nearby pub kept us awake for awhile. Not very well sound proofed and no curfew in affect.

I recently stayed at the copper horse lodge. Great food, Great people. Everything went smooth as far as signing in, and getting situated. All the staff was more than helpful, friendly, and easy going. Situated not even 5 min walk from the gondola, and directly across the street from, what we thought, was the best pub in the village, which also had good food and night life.

We appreciated the dry room for all of your ski/snowboard gear. Hot tub with extra towels at hand, rooms were clean and cozy, but most of all the hospitality and friendliness of staff that made the stay worth it.

I will definitely stay at copper horse again. and recommend it to anyone.

Copper Horse Lodge was the most amazing place for our wedding!!!! We would reccommend it to all!!! The staff, hosts, managers and cooks were excellent! Our room was spectacular!!!!! Hot tub was super relaxing after a busy day!

The food at the Corks Restaurant was so delicious, we ate there both days we were there.

Anything we inquired about, we were given basically! Everyone went out of their way to make our stay memorable, and they all seemed genuine.

Hats of to a great team, and we hope to see you again!!!!!

Wonderful hosts who are attentive to your every need. Spacious, cozy rooms with views of the mountain. The highlight was definitely the staff bringing out beers to the hot tub.

Our second time there and definitely not our last!

No hustle and bustle with crowds. The vegetation is slowly turning to fall colors and even at 8 a.m. it's a comfortable 13 degrees C. The lodge itself is well maintained. Very casual and relaxing. Arriving in the off season we had very personalized service from Jesse and Chris. The breakfast was refreshing and our room was very comfortable. We even used the fireplace in the foyer after enjoying a steak sandwich at Winstons. We also had the opportunity of watching the bear for over half an hour in the shrubs. A dog in the neighborhood was barking and the yearling ran up the tree just outside the balcony. Several other guests were also enjoying the National Geographic moment. Thanks for the memories.

Room Tip: Not telling.

We stayed at the Copper Horse for one night and wished we could have stayed longer. The Reception area is just as a lodge should be. Our suite was beautiful with a gorgeous mountain view. The bed was huge and extremely comfortable, the shower was excellent with lovely ate and shower products and big fluffy towels and robes.
As it was the end of the season unfortunately the restaurant was closed so we couldn't sample the dinner menu however breakfast was delicious, even the croissant were freshly baked.

We cannot recommend this hotel highly enough it was lovely.

Room Tip: Ask for a mountain view at the front of the lodge

My husband and I had a great time at this lodge, the rooms were wonderful and the service was just amazing. We had a bear outside of the lodge for 2 days that somehow we kept missing! Will definitely keep this place in mind when we travel back up that way.

Room Tip: We faced the backside of the hotel facing the hottub and I found no problems with noise or anything...
