I participated in the Kicking Horse Cup this weekend and stayed at palliser lodge. The race was very demanding and the outdoor hot tub at the lodge was a great feature for these tired legs. The hotel was very clean and the bike locker room was a nice touch to store my bike. The nearby restaurants were fabulous and the nightlife was surprisingly great considering this is more of a winter destination. That said I will be back to test out the slopes this season.

Had a very nice stay this weekend at Palliser lodge. We had a two bedroom unit with an outdoor hot tub. The lodge has a common bbq as well as a fitness facility. The staff were lovely and quick to respond when I requested some extra amenities. All in all this was a nice trip away from the city and will return.

Thank you for your great review from your stay with us at Palliser Lodge. I am very happy to hear that you enjoyed your suite along with the amenities that the property has to offer. Palliser Lodge is always a favorite for guests; especially with the select suites that offer your own personal Hot Tub. Our family was traveling through Golden and decided to take the drive up and spend a night at Kicking Horse. We stayed in a one bedroom condo in Palliser Lodge. Check in is conveniently located at the main lodge (Glacier) and it’s a short one minute drive from there. The building is new and has great amenities. My only suggestion would be to turn the heat off in the hallways; it felt like bit like a sauna.

We will defiantly return!

My friend and I stayed at Palliser in the 2 bedroom suite for 9 nights. After traveling 14 hours we finally arrived at the Glacier Lodge to check in. The staff was great and offered to drive us to the Palliser, which was awesome because I was too tired to move and didn't want to haul all the luggage. The suite was very well equipped and had everything you need to be comfortable and if you plan on cooking, all the cooking tools you need will be there. The private hot tub on the balcony was fantastic. The Palliser is definitely ski in, but not so much ski out. You have to hike up this hill in the morning, in ski boots and that was not how like liked to start my morning. That is about the only negative thing I have to say about my stay. It would be nice if there was a rope tow or something. When we checked out the staff was great. The night before I asked if someone could come pick us up and take us to where the Brewster bus was doing to depart and they did, so super awesome! Oh, and I also loved the heated floors in the bathrooms! The boot dryer was awesome to have and the washer/dryer was also great.

Even though we had the full kitchen, we only used the microwave for breakfast oatmeal. The food at the General Store was so expensive--$4.99 for a dozen eggs?! Also, they ran out of chocolate milk mid-week, so I plan on stocking up on my next visit. It just made more sense to eat out. We ate at Peaks everynight, which was great. We were there for a long enough stay that we made friends with the locals.

I think one suggestion would be to have more information about taking the shuttle into town, or even getting like a dedicated shuttle to run to the grocery store, like every other evening. The General Store does have the necessities, but back to the prices, it's insanely expensive and limited varieties.

Room Tip: Go for the 2 bedroom suite with the private hot tub! You will be skiing so much and need the hot tu...

Ski in, ski out perfect location! Amazing Mountain, offer Ski/snow board for all levels.
Palliser offers condos & great rooms with access to ski lockers & a hot Jaccuzzi.
Ski rentals, restaurants, bar and a general store all available close-by, 5min. walking distance. Add a reservation at Eagles' Mountain Top restaurant for a memorable culinary experience & voilà!

p.s. Pallisser Lodge would require in-house guest service staff at desk + swipe cards that works...well.

p.ss Janitor at Palliser lodge was really nice.
