Beautiful lodge in an amazing location!

Only 5 min from the visitor's center on HWY 1, but feels very secluded. Food was spectacular!! Great German beer on tap in an impressive dining room with breathtaking views.

Owners are meticulous about maintaining clean rooms and providing first class service. Hign quality beds make for a sound night's sleep after a day of hiking or skiing.

Easy access to both Banff/Lake Louise and the Kicking horse ski area.

Looking forward to going back!

Picked a beautiful spot to spend our 17th anniversary dinner. Couldn't have had anything better. Although we didn't stay at the Lodge it certainly looked inviting if the dining room was anything like the Lodge.

My husband and I just happened to come to this Lodge and had a wonderful evening eating delicious food and talking with the owners. The next morning we woke up to a fantastic breakfast highlighted by oatmeal pancakes, the best I have ever had. I would highly recommend the Glenogle Lodge, if you can't find please call them for directions, it's definately worth it.

We arrived by chance late in the evening and were instantly impressed by the main buildings and beautiful location. We were those difficult customers, who arrived on spec and start demianding...ours was to ask for a dinner within 90 mins, What can we say? It was incredible. A full authentic German speciality meal and lots of it. There was no let up in the excellent food and quality and the overwhelming warm welcome by Doris and Norbert. The lodge is just perfect, large welcoming open bar with large windows taking in the beautiful views. The guest rooms were large and comfortable and spotlessely clean.
In addition to an excellent nights sleep, we received one of the biggest tastiest breakfasts that I have ever got anywhere... and believe me I stay away a lot! We left feeling that we by pure chance we disovered not only a lodge but a haven that we would have no problems in recommending to any one else.
