Although wolves were in large enclosures (NB. no visitor interaction) and the footprint of the Centre isn't huge the guides were very informative and offered visitors a deeper understanding of the plight of wolves when dealing with their worst enemy.....humans. Their struggle to survive as well as their group dynamics are fascinating. Magnificent creatures! It should be noted that when taken out on their walks the gates are left open so should they decide not to return to the protection of the enclosures created for them, they are free to leave. They never do leave so being the intelligent creatures they are they too must think the Centre is a good place :)
