“OLDER But Great food Great Price!!”
Reviewed 25 July 2013

Both my husband and I enjoyed a lunch and a breakfast at this place. The owner was our server. He was a bit slow but oh so friendly and good humored. He brought our food out hot and properly cooked. The prices were great. We found this place by ourselves but the next day our friend who is a logger working there at present asked us to join him for breakfast there. He goes every morning for his meal and enjoys their staff and food. Definitely NOT fine dining. LOL but down home old fashioned food with cheap cutlery and tacky looking decor. LOL great coffee too!!

“misunderstood”
Reviewed 7 May 2013

This restaurant is small town Alberta at it's best. It just happens to be located in smalltown BC. there is a difference. It is a great place for breakfast.

“Greasy Spoon Charm”
Reviewed 8 April 2013

I could understand if other reviewers didn't fall in love with this place - it's quite worn out and the decor is rather tacky. But we had a very personable server who helped us even though they were closing in a half an hour. The food was good and a reasonable portion, especially for the price. This is definitely not an upscale establishment, but we enjoyed it for what it was.

“DISGUSTING!!!!”
Reviewed 18 February 2013

CHEAP CRAP!!!! The few good reviews this place has seen must be from friends. If you want bland poorly prepared food out of a can this is your place. The place is greasy and has no character. The eggs I ordered medium were raw, barely warm, and I am sure the toast was made from Wonder bread, the cheap 99 cent crap you get at the grocery store, but at least I had something to water down the sawdust they call hash browns. And oh yeah the parking in the back, when I got out there were a couple drug addicts trying to get into my car. The parking is for an abandoned building that has been taken over by homeless addicts.

“Gross!”
Reviewed 4 December 2012 via mobile

Had the steak it was chewy and nasty! There was 1 server with not much experience. Also a older guy that was apparently the cook was on the phone we where sitting so we could see into the kitchen he took payments touched money went into the kitchen and started cooking with out washing his hands! It was revolting! And all we heard was him giving the waitress a hard time about reading bills! Our hashbrowns tasted sour and r toast was cold that even the butter wasn't melted! So if the saying is right u get what u pay for and that isn't much!
