“Art and great coffee and good (limited food) and a central meeting place. Perfect.”

I attended a poetry reading night (that featured a special Middle Eastern Dinner). I didn't plan it ahead time, but ended up at the mike. The food was (always is) good, the servers are friendly and efficient and the coffee - well - is great.

Nice felt ' felt I did not get it' - food bland, atmosphere was fair, active place, busy but nice - no explanation of menu and none offered - potential I feel and I feel they had better days that when I went there

This place has THE best Nanimo bars. Look no further. My sister, the Nanaimo bar queen, says they are as good as hers. Friendly staff and reasonable prices too.

Everything about this place is pretty basic. Nothing special, but the food is good, portions are reasonable and the price is average for what you get. Everything is made in house, and they keep things simple. There was live music over the lunch, and that was nice. Overall if you are looking for a decent meal at a decent price this place fits the bill.
Local art is featured on the walls and they have regular live entertainment.
