Our experience at the Tree Island B & B was an extraordinary one. Our hosts were amazing and extremely informative about the area. The breakfast was exquisite. Cori's beautiful pottery made the food even more amazing to enjoy. Alice and Cori made us feel very comfortable in their beautiful home. Their attention to detail was to perfection. We enjoyed each others company and stories. We definitely recommend this hidden jewel and we will return again!!!

How lucky we are that we get to enjoy guests like you. From the minute you walked in, it felt like we all had known each other from another time and place. We recently received your lovely note, - so sweet of you. The breakfast we made for you, the asparagus gruyere caramelized onion tart has continued to be a hit. We hope to see you both up next year - and of course, any time you are in the valley.

From the minute we drove up the driveway with the beautiful gardens, Cori and Alice made us feel like we were coming HOME. They greeted us at our car, helped bring in our bags and had homemade iced tea and fresh baked treats waiting for us to nibble on while we caught our breath after our day of being on the road. We sat and chatted like we were old friends, yet we had never met them before. They made us feel so welcomed and comfortable. Both Cori and Alice were genuinely interested in who we were, and made some great suggestions for how we could spend our day in the valley, based on our conversation with them. They really listen and just knew what would make us happy. -
Breakfast was ... absolutely the best breakfast I have had at any bed and breakfast ever. We had a beautiful fresh fruit parfait with locally made yogurt and Alice made the homemade gluten free granola. Cori made us a puffed pastry egg dish with venison sausage and asparagus. It was ridiculously beautiful and tasted great. She also made fresh bread that was to die for to accompany their sour cherry chai jam fresh from their sour cherry tree. Being an avid reader, I was delighted to find a perfect spot to settle in with my new book. I was able to look up from my book, and watch the sail boats go by.
The view of the ocean and the mountains was beautiful and we only wish we lived closer so we could visit these wonderful women more often. They were so warm and welcoming, really making us feel like we were right at home ... but significantly better!
We won't even think of staying anywhere else next time we visit Comox and Courtenay.
Cori is a potter and the house was filled with beautiful pieces she has made. I don't know where else you get homemade pottery with your homemade food - sweet!

Our room was fresh, airy, quiet, and very clean. The bed was perfect and so comfortable.
These women sure know how to do the B&B thing the right way. They said they were new at this, but you sure wouldn't know it.
