“Great views, good food”
Reviewed 10 October 2013 via mobile

The views of the golf course and the valley are spectacular and the service is attentive and friendly. The food is good. Not great, but there's a good variety and even kids have lots of choice. The dress and atmosphere are informal and a little noisy. As long as you know that and aren't looking for a quiet spot it's a good choice.

“Pleasant place and good food”
Reviewed 17 September 2013

We stayed at Crown Isle and ate breakfast here one morning. We found the menu to have a good variety from which to choose. We had the pancakes and eggs benedict with salmon (there were quite a few different types of eggs benedict) We shared our breakfasts and enjoyed them both, finding the eggs benedict quite flavourful. I love pancakes and these were good, but not great. We felt we were paying about $1 to $2 per meal for the location which we did not find to be outrageous since we enjoyed the view, the ambiance and it was very quiet inside. The service was very good and we did not have to wait long at all for the food.

“Handsome facility with "Good Enough" Cooking”
Reviewed 27 August 2013

I visited the Crown Isle Club in August 2013, and found it to be a very pleasant venue with a proficient kitchen. Our group of three sat near a window and watched the golfers come and go all afternoon. Dress code is casual; Crown Isle does not have a fussy country-club atmosphere and you don't have to be a member to enjoy the facility. Drinks were reasonably priced (for Canada). There is a large patio with maybe a dozen tables outside; on a warm, dry day that would be my first choice for seating. Service is desultory; they kind of come and go and get to you when they get to you. But the food was tasty and the menu selection broad enough that everybody found something they would enjoy.

“Lovely location, excellent food”
Reviewed 15 August 2013 via mobile

We had lunch and dinner in this pub attached to Crown Isle Golf Club. The menu selection is extensive and the food was excellent, namely the fish and chips, seafood chowder, mussels in broth and smoked tuna spinach salad. The curry was excellent too. Servers are friendly, helpful and prompt. Would recommend.

“Gastranomic Delight”
Reviewed 4 August 2013

The pub serves up a variety of delicious meals and beverages that are very reasonably priced - the seafood chowder is exceptional. Whether your taste buds crave simply an appetizer or a full meal, all is available. Very friendly and courteous staff. if you're there in the summer and the weather is good, you must get a seat on the patio as the view of the Glacier and surrounding mountains is spectacular.
