“Fantastic”

Thanks to Michelle for arranging such a fantastic day. We enjoyed the ride and saw a couple of pods of Orcas, lots of pink salmon jumping out of the water, Hump Back whales tail up and passed a cruise ship on the way back. The scenery was unbelievable and we saw some dolphins on the way back in. Thanks to Captain John for a great ride and lifetime experience.

“Great day”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 August 2014

We really enjoyed our day. We saw Orcas twice, salmon, eagles and many other birds. The captain and crew were very informative and welcoming and shared lots of interesting stories and information. The scenery is incredible and the cloudy, misty weather we had today just made it more dramatic.

“Awesome Whale watching trip”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 August 2014

Went out on Saturday for an unforgettable trip. The captain and the onboard nature commentator were amazing and made us feel very welcome, especially the children. We saw 4 Orca pods with one very up close experience as the Dolphins push the Orcas next to the boat - amazing close up experience! We also saw a hunchback whale, bald eagle, Sea lion and seals. 10/10.

“Awesome experience!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 August 2014

Went out on Monday, August 4, a beautiful sunny day with not a lot of wind. Stopped at the mouth of the Adams River to watch the spectacle of thousands of salmon leaping out of the water around the boat. Just south of Robson Bight, we encountered a small pod of northern resident orcas and, thanks to the hydrophone, were able to hear them as well as see them. After spending a few minutes with this family of orcas, Captain John asked if we wanted to make a quick speed run up to Blackfish Sound where there was a chance that we might encounter a humpback whale. Everyone agreed and we set out. As we were approaching the Sound, my wife spotted the cloud of mist from a blowing whale. We got closer and were treated to a close approach by a humpback that Amber, the onboard Marine Biologist identified as Guardian. After a great lunch, we slowly started for home and saw a second humpback. We finished an incredible day by catching some 5 to 6 foot waves just north of Kelsey Bay and surfing our way home. Hats off to Captain John, Amber and George for a great experience.

“Outstanding experience!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 July 2014

Went out on Friday, July 18th. After spotting Pacific white sided dolphins in the first few minutes out of Sayward, we were hoping our luck would hold - and it did! Near Adams River we came across a pod of Orcas (4) with a large male and followed them for the better part of two hours. At one point, our very knowledgeable naturalist was giving a presentation about the Orcas when they popped up right next to our boat - on cue! Captain John was friendly and very knowledgeable, the boat was super comfortable and dry, and the day couldn't have gone any better. I recommend this highly professional outfit.
