Description: Cotto Enoteca Pizzeria showcases modern Italian cuisine, specializing in authentic VPN certified Neapolitan pizza and comforting Italian dishes. The focal point of the restaurant is undoubtedly the wood fired brick forno. The menu is steeped in Italian tradition, though updated with West Coast sensibility and is presented in an approachable and informal setting. Cotto's simple, yet elegant cuisine features the natural beauty of local, sustainable and seasonal ingredients in an appropriate and sumptuous manner. Showcasing the best ingredients of British Columbia and the traditional techniques of Italy is the overwhelming inspiration behind Cotto Enoteca's kitchen.

We like to come here mid afternoons for pizza and beer. The food is delicious, service is good and parking is available. Appetizers and pastas are also delicious.

We wandered in purely by chance, with no preconceptions, because the Italian place we had decided to try, two blocks away, was closed.
First impression: oooookay...this might be interesting.
First impression of the menu...oooookay, not your ordinary pizzaria and wine bar. The don't offer the veal picatta I wanted (I don't enjoy the breaded cutlets), and I didn't want pasta tonight, but the pasta selection is broad, deep, and looks outstanding. Some other time.
Then we look at the specials menu. Including halibut in an arugula pesto, on fingerling potatos, with peppers.
It was perhaps the finest sauced fish preparation I have ever experienced, and I've had great fish on every continent except South America and Antarctica.
A thoughtfully-selected wine list. Outstanding staff. Pleasant surroundings, Reasonable prices.
Yes, we will definitely be back.

…what a wonderful first impression and experience! Great service and food are found here, I can't wait to go back and see them again!
My first trip here was on Mothers Day, loved the gift of biscotti with the handwritten card, the fresh flowers on the table, the REAL mushroom pizza from the wood fired oven, and the incredible beet salad.
I was so very impressed with the young woman who waited on me, a gem of an employee, her energy and enthusiasm a rarity.
They have comfortable inside as well as outside seating that includes couches, great touch!
This really is a gem, can't wait to return and will be telling family and friends all about it!

We had a Groupon for this restaurant so we went as a family of 4. We all tried different pastas even though the pizza looked great. We tried 2 of the salads- the caesar and the beet salad. The caesar was chunky but tasted great even though I only had a bite. The beet salad was quite citrus tasting and fresh. The salads were large so definitely share unless you have a big appetite. The pastas we had were the vongole, gnocci, canneloni carne and the mixed cream and tomato. All were very tasty and nice portions and they all tasted differently, which is nice as some restaurants the sauces seem to taste the same.
The service was good and the food was served without too much wait time.
The restaurant ambiance is more like a bar setting and there is a large outdoor area that is heated by propane heaters.
We will definitely head back soon to try out the pizza and other items on the menu.

This was a last minute decision to celebrate a friends accomplishment and was based on proximity to his home. The experience exceeded all expectations. We were unable to book on Open Table because they were all booked up. A good sign. On phoning the restaurant they were able to accommodate us on their heated patio as due to good weather it was open. The menu had a great cross-section of choices and there was also a 'specials menu' that changes monthly and is based on creative ideas from staff members. The wine list was good and reasonably priced. The staff were extremely helpful and attentive. Portions are large so ordering 1/2 portions and sharing worked well. 1 appy, 2 pasta 1/2portions and 1 special pizza left us with a 1/2 pizza to take home. All the food was delicious and the value fantastic. Looks like I found my new go to Italiano in the Vancouver area.
