This location is one of the newer, in an area that is slowly developing. We've been enjoying White Spot since prior to Nat Bailey ownership ~ in the '50's. In the 58 years we've lingered in the restaurants, sat in our car with trays and had 'take away. To say there have been a few chocolate shakes relished is an understatement. Copious triple O's, chicken pickens (no longer available in the original form) and fish and chips. This locations was busy. Always a good sign. The layout is split. Thought was given to the separation of folks who may not wish sports on a big screen - and for that we are thankful. There is an area that has the appearance of a bar. We chose a booth. The jug of ice cold beer, for some of us, was a delight. So were the chilled glasses. The server was there in body and did, periodically remember we were there. Maybe a training issue but never mind it's White Spot. We ordered the fish and chips. We the dishes arrived there was a long pause and then ... while adjusting the glasses there were 2 pieces of halibut JUST BARELY. With astonishment we realized those 2 inch by 3 inch pieces were the halibut we had been longing for. The single lemon slice somehow made the pieces look dwarfed on the plate. A few fries, some equally sad tartar sauce and a table spoon of coleslaw. Please, in future, place this dish in the appetizer section of the menu. As for service, take nothing on faith, find people that can actually provide service and ENJOY their job. We will continue to enjoy the hamburgers. As for beverage - you can't go wrong with a jug of beer- it can be filling.
