This location is one of the newer, in an area that is slowly developing. We've been enjoying White Spot since prior to Nat Bailey ownership ~ in the '50's. In the 58 years we've lingered in the restaurants, sat in our car with trays and had 'take away. To say there have been a few chocolate shakes relished is an understatement. Copious triple O's, chicken pickens (no longer available in the original form) and fish and chips. This locations was busy. Always a good sign. The layout is split. Thought was given to the separation of folks who may not wish sports on a big screen - and for that we are thankful. There is an area that has the appearance of a bar. We chose a booth. The jug of ice cold beer, for some of us, was a delight. So were the chilled glasses. The server was there in body and did, periodically remember we were there. Maybe a training issue but never mind it's White Spot. We ordered the fish and chips. We the dishes arrived there was a long pause and then ... while adjusting the glasses there were 2 pieces of halibut JUST BARELY. With astonishment we realized those 2 inch by 3 inch pieces were the halibut we had been longing for. The single lemon slice somehow made the pieces look dwarfed on the plate. A few fries, some equally sad tartar sauce and a table spoon of coleslaw. Please, in future, place this dish in the appetizer section of the menu. As for service, take nothing on faith, find people that can actually provide service and ENJOY their job. We will continue to enjoy the hamburgers. As for beverage - you can't go wrong with a jug of beer- it can be filling.

Picked up an Irish friend at the airport and headed straight for White Spot. Enjoyed a pint of Winter Ale - filling, pleasant, sweet caramel taste, as well as the Lager. Had Bishops curry, and burgers. Curry was dry as I had the brown rice; requested a side of the sauce which made it perfect. Food came quickly and was fresh. Server (Katie) was very good! As we are regulars at WS we bought $50 gift cards with the bonus $10...it will be put to good use!

Felt like I was eating hospital cafeteria food. The turkey was obviously from one of those processed rolls. Worse the mashed potato was stone cold. The service staff were super friendly as was reception and we went on a Friday night when it was busy. The hot apple pie does not live up to expectations because they obviously take a pre baked pastry shell, squirt in some filling and then plant a very small size scoop of ice cream. The experience felt like eating conveyor belt food that was designed to be pushed out quickly. My friend has a burger and methinks this is what they specialize in and what I will order next time. In fairness they replaced the turkey meal and returned with a hot one pretty quickly and without us asking or expecting they comped our desserts.

Will we return? Maybe and this time will remember to order a burger type meal.

Our waitress was Kayla. Great personality and attitude toward her work. We had the special combo featuring blueberry pie, right at the end of blueberry season.
This restaurant is new and beautifully decorated. It is in a new-ish shopping center. It is on the south side of Marine Drive near Price Smart (?) grocery store.

I am somewhat biased as I have eaten at White Spot for over 60 years. Their big bowl breakfast is a fantastic deal and I have never had a complaint.

And what can you say about their hamburgers?
