If you think about how this rock came to be where it is, and how far it has travelled, it's really amazing to see it up close. The rock is sinking, so it doesn't seem as big as it did when I was there 10 years ago, but that doesn't take away from breathtaking view or interesting colors and textures of the rock. This a great place to stop on your way to Okotoks or Black Diamond - have a picnic or just sit and watch the sunset.
