We stayed at the Newcastle Country Inn for 1 night last week to fit in a visit to the Royal Tyrrell Museum before heading back home from our week-long vacation in Banff and Jasper. We are from the US East Coast and typically stay in large chain hotels like Hiltons or Marriotts. We were not expecting much in Drumheller, given how small the town is. We were quite pleasantly surprised by how lovely the Inn was! Judith and her husband were extremely gracious hosts, and the rooms were the nicest we stayed in all week (and we stayed in mid-level, not budget, accommodations in Banff and Jasper). Our room had a very comfortable queen-size bed, along with a twin-size bed for our child, a small table and a little refrigerator, as well as a private bath (with the thickest, softest bath towels of the week as well). We had free Wi-Fi access and a continental breakfast. Judith gave us an excellent dinner recommendation (for Athens Greek restaurant in town, where we had the most flavorful NY strip steaks of the week as well). After we left the hotel, we realized we had left something there of sentimental value. Judith was incredibly gracious (and budget-conscious on our behalf as well) in figuring out how to ship the item back to us for the most reasonable cost (no small matter, as Canada Post was on strike last week).
We would highly recommend staying here - we slept quite well, enjoyed our conversations with our hosts and other travelers, and learned more about places to go in the area (like Dinosaur Trail and the mining tour) than we would have otherwise.

The rooms are cute and charming, the amenities - towels, bedding - are of good quality, the hosts are really wonderful. Unfortunately, if the other guests enjoy talking into the wee hours or they have a child that starts howling at 5:50 a.m., these things too will impact the quality of your stay.
If you're not noise-sensitive, this place is excellent. If you like privacy to include quiet, you may prefer a less house-like structure.

This B&B was delightful, Judith and Clarence were extremely kind and helpful, they advised us on good places to eat and visit during our time in Drumheller. The rooms (all en-suite) are big, nicely furnished and very clean. The beds were so comfortable and the continental breakfast was lovely, there was lots to choose from. We would definitely return to the Newcastle Country Inn.

Newcastle is always a pleasant and friendly place to stay. We like it because it's a little out of the centre of town and you feel like you get to know Drumheller instead of only knowing the touristy areas.
If anyone is looking for a place to stay in Drumheller I always recommend Newcastle. The continental breakfast always has tons of variety to choose from.
Newly painted, it is always exceptionally clean also.

Very nice stay! Everything was clean fresh and new. Has has nice "feels like home" sense to it. TVs are a small, but everything else makes up for that. Breakfast is good. Short drive 3 min drive to downtown. The bathrooms are great, House keeping is fantastic.

Typical B&B in a small town, don't expect 5 star hotel. Very clean and cozy, friendly hosts. We enjoyed our o/n stay.

Clean and comfortable b&b with helpful owner. Good good tips on where to
eat. Good matresses. Athens restaurant (downtown Drumheller) serves high quality greek food for good prices and is close to the (MUST VISIT) dinosaur. Inn a bit outside the town behind an industrial area - but quiet.
