“Great hosts and easy to relax in atmosphere.”

We would chose this place anytime we are back in Drumheller. The hostess Judith and and host Clarence were very nice friendly people to chat with. They were also very helpful as we organized our day tripping during our two night stay. Tidy, not crowded and quiet, it is easy to relax. Located between the downtown core and the Tyrell museum, this B&B is not too far from anything for those who are inclined to a little walking. Expect 25-30 minutes to restaurants in and around downtown. Taking the "scenic route" (ask Clarence) you can walk to Tyrell in less than 45 minutes at a sightseeing pace. Also recommended is one of the half day tours offered by Badlands Bob, with a good dose of historical insight all along the route.

Room Tip: Located on a relatively quiet street so there isn't likely a preferred quiet side. We stayed in...

I wanted to take the kids to Drumheller for the September long weekend and managed to find one room available at the Newcastle Inn. Judith and Clarence knew I would be a little later than the usual check in time as I was coming up from Edmonton after work. They were very friendly and suggested a few restaurants we could go have supper in. Judith even went through the map with me to make sure I didn't miss anything on my trip which was very nice of her!
Our bags were brought to our room and I have to say that I have never stayed in a place that clean before. It was immaculate from corner to corner, not a speck of dirt anywhere.
Breakfast was good, a variety of cereals to choose from, bagels, toast, good coffee, fruit salad, yogurt, and home made saskatoon berry jam.
We had a lovely trip, a lovely stay, and I would recommend the Newcastle Inn to anyone.

We spent two nights at the Newcastle Inn and found it to be a friendly, comfy place to stay! The rooms were homey and held a warm atmosphere, though temp was just right!! The breakfasts were perfect to start one off before a day of touring!! Thank-you Judith and Clarence!!

We stayed on our honeymoon while traveling through drumheller. We were treated like family. We were sent out in the morning with a map and a list of must see attractions. Cannot say anything bad. The whole place was extremely clean, and beds were amazing.

I had the pleasure of staying at Newcastle Country Inn on August 6th & 7th (2013), and I would recommend it highly to anyone. The rooms are spacious, very comfortable, and equipped with TV, wifi, mini-fridges (to store your own treats), air conditioning, and a full bathroom. The Inn is beautifully decorated and welcoming. Everything is kept spottlessly clean. The morning breakfast offers lots of tasty options to start the day, and owners Judith and Clarence will make you feel more like family than a guest with their warmth, their generous hospitality, and their wealth of stories about the Drumheller area. This is, by far, the best place to stay in Drumheller, and one that will provide you with as many happy memories as your trip will!

Room Tip: Judith took me on a mini-tour of the rooms that were momentarily vacant one morning and, I can hones...

This place was super clean. Nice quiet comfortable place to stay overnight. Congenial hosts are very helpful if you need to find a restuarant, store, sightseeing activity, etc.
Breakfast is self serve with a wide variety of cerals and breads for toast. Coffee and tea are always available.
