“Arrive early”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 April 2014

Gets very busy fast. We arrived around 2:00pm and the wait was over one hour. Tours are now given in English and Spanish at the same time. Previously they had English only and Spanish only tours. Group size is advertised as a max of 30 people. However, our was closer to sixty. Difficult for those near the end to hear the guide.

$4 fee to enter park and ticket price is based on age. 13 and above are $12/person. There is a senior discount. When you enter the park, you are given a number. This number is used to determine when you may enter the cave.

Paths inside the cave are wet, steep, and curvy at times. We had a couple of people in our group almost fall. Flip flops and sandals are not recommended.

“Huge underground cave”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 April 2014

It is a huge underground cave, with very high ceilings, and water pouring from some of the ceiling cracks and striking on the rock with sound echo around the cave. At the end of both side of the cave, it is excellent photographic scene. Very worthwhile to visit.

“Incredible scenery!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 April 2014 via mobile

Getting there was rather easy, leaving was hard. Everything I experience to your I will remember the sheer beauty of the cave surroundings was incredible. Totally worth the price of admission and time and effort to get there. The tour guides are awesome and explain everything about the caves in detail and with great knowledge. This is a great tour for kids and adults.

“Beautiful Cathedral Cave”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 April 2014

There is a tram that takes you down to the mouth of the cave. The main cave has a ceiling of 140 feet. The walk is paved all the way inside the caves and a guide describes the main features. These caves were formed by the river which runs through it, over millions of years. There are many stalactites and stalagmites which have grown very large over these years. I was told that the bats live in caves under the main one. We did not see any evidence of bats. This was a very interesting trip. The waiting time was not longer than expected. The fees were reasonable with children's' and seniors' prices and no charge for those 75 and over.

“Amazing”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 31 March 2014

Really cool place and very good tour, had a lot of fun. Make sure to be there before 2pm as the wait can be long on nice days. The transit to the cave and tour itself is a good 1.5 hours. Totally worthwile.
