Incredible Hotel in a unique spot in Provence. If you want to have a peaceful stay, in a top class place, surrounded by nature and totally peaceful.... this is the place. A few blocks walking its a 2 stars Michelin restaurant that belongs to the Baumaniere Hotel, with a lovely patio and in-cre-di-ble food; of course, the price is according to the stars...but there are options for affordable menus and very important ...you dont need to book three months in advance, which is usual for this kind of top notch restos ( we booked the day before to lunch, a party of two, and paid around 220 euros total price for a really amazing food and two glasses of french wine). It is said that Mick Jagger and Tina Turner were hosted in this Hotel. Strongly recomendable place, no doubt about it.

Unsurpassed in quality. Beautiful setting. Attentive staff. Wonderful room and furnishing all well thought out to meet your every need. Would love to return here. It's is the most relaxing property I have every stayed in, and I've traveled the world and worked for a major lifestyle magazine. Highly recommend staying here. It's pricey, but worth every penny. It promises a unique and memorable experience.

Room Tip: I'm sure some are preferable to others, but I would love any of them.

I last reviewed the Baumaniere in 2008, and noted at that time that my wife and I have stayed at the hotel at least five times over the past 20 years (now 30). It has gotten better over the years. I find it very difficult to fault anything. The room we had this May ($275 US) was in one of the old provincial buildings near the Cabro D'Or restaurant. Our car was parked by one of the staff 100 yards away in a gated area. We had lunch at the restaurant, and took the menu for the day (85 euros). From the amuse bouche to the cheese plate and desert everything was excellent. I drank wine (a local rose) by the glass, and couldn't have been happier. The service was superb, quick, friendly, and informative. We took breakfast the next day (27 euros per head). Almost all hotels in France now charge extra for breakfast (not so in Italy), and the going rate is 20 euros. The breakfast at the Baumaniere was exceptional. No complaints.
We stayed one night. Great food, good sleep, and not outrageously expensive.

A beautiful hotel, gorgeous grounds, full of charm, polite & friendly staff. Delicious evening meal, pool lunch « basket » excellent ! Buffet breakfast needs re-looking though ! Lovely, comfortable bedrooms.

Room Tip: We had a classic room, number 54, which was lovely and calm.

Dear Amanda G,

Thank you for your comment, I am happy to see that you spent a good time. For the breakfast buffet, I am disappointed, we made important renovations this winter. Maybe you can share your ideas to help us improve our service at: satisfaction@baumaniere.com ?

The staff are so accommodating and welcoming no request is too much. Nice clean spacious rooms. All amenities provided. Such a quiet location you only hear birds singing. Great breakfast. Walking distance to town and les carrières des lumières will definitely be coming back.
