We loved everything about beaver hall - comfort of the bed - quiet location of the room - excellent location to pier for boat trips - bike path to rock port & brockville - excellent restaurants all within walking distance - walk to the theatre for a great show - great wholesome breakfasts - cleanliness (Agnes even line dries the sheets & you can smell how clean they are) and the friendliest owners we have ever met - and we stay and lots of b&b's all over the world

Room Tip: We were in the maritime room - very quiet - extremely comfortable king size bed - smaller bathroom b...

We(newly weds) and our wedding party took over Beaver Hall for our wedding weekend and enjoyed the beautifully decorated Garden Suite as our base of operations. Harrie and Agnes took impressive care of us and we appreciated their warmth and care all weekend long. The bathroom was beautiful and equipped with a luxurious jacuzzi tub. The breakfasts were excellent and so carefully served. The parking was easy and the sitting rooms and back porch were a perfect place to unwind after days of celebrating. We felt as though we were staying with family. Beautiful B&B and excellent hosts.

Gananoque is a charming little town in the Thousand Islands area and this inn is reflective of the town. Our room was situated at the rear of the house and had its own sitting area on the back porch that overlooked the gardens. Plenty of space, furnished with period pieces and exceptionally clean. Fresh air is provided through a screen door that leads to the porch, and the room is serviced by an A/C unit that is mounted over the door. Bathroom is exceptionally quirky, but functional; light is turned on & off by a switch outside of the bathroom, and the room has a set of small double doors as there isn't enough space for a single door to open inwards, towel bar outside of shower stall is behind shower door when it's open......weird, but not unworkable. No television in the room, but we couldn't care less. Inn is located on the main drag, but rooms to the rear are surprisingly quiet due to the thick stone walls that make up the structure. Plenty of off-street parking. Hearty breakfast served by a friendly host. Reasonably priced. Within walking distance of all of the restaurants in town and down by the water.

Room Tip: Choose a room at the rear for a quiet night's sleep

My husband & I stayed 2 nights in this B&B, at the beginning of a 6 day Canadian vacation. Gananoque, ON is quaint & sits beautifully in the 1000 Island Parkway area. Beaver Hall B&B is top notch & tastefully decorated. We stayed on first floor in the Garden Suite; we had our own private outdoor sitting area on the back porch. Parking is free, the breakfasts are delicious & served properly. The tourist information provided was very helpful as were Agnes's personal suggestions. Harrie & Agnes do an excellent job of offering the "comforts of home" in their historic B&B. They memorize the names of everyone! We chose the 2 hour 1000 Island Parkway boat ride that was offered nearby, enjoyed walking within the town & on nearby trails. The B&B is located within walking distance to trails, boat tours, restaurants, grocery store, Dollar Store, drug store, etc. We attended "She Loves Me" play at the town Playhouse. Several guests at the B&B were there to enjoy the bike trails. Harrie & Agnes are sincere & make you feel very special! We hope to return!

Beautiful Heritage Home in the heart of Gananoque. We stayed here for one night in the Painter's Suite and absolutely loved it! The owners were very attentive, sweet, and it literally felt like being at home. Harrie and Agnes are fantastic B&B owners - their care and attention to guests is superb. In regards to the room, the bed was perfect, clean, and if you're a light sleeper it was great because you could barely hear anyone through the walls/below. Also, the window covers and curtains black-out the room so if you are someone who wakes up with the super early morning light it's great. The night before you fill out a breakfast menu list of choices, and this was by far the coziest and relaxing B&B breakfast. The dining room is perfectly prepared with multiple choices of granola, cereals, yogurt, fresh fruit bowls, coffee, juice, etc. We had the sunny-side eggs with toast and bacon. Took a look at the other plates such as french toast and scrambled eggs and it also looked perfect. We spent some time in the backyard/garden after kayaking and the next morning which was peaceful and tranquil. If you usually stay at a hotel but enjoy the feeling of home, you'll love it here! I am fairly used to nice hotels but there are so many things that are hit and miss! Simply can't compete with the standards and consistency of cleanliness, bedroom comfort, hospitality, and perfect breakfast at Beaver Hall. Super cozy and charming!

Room Tip: Painter's Suite doesn't feel like a standard hotel room. Sitting area with couch, comfy chai...

We recently spent four nights at this lovely Bed and Breakfast. The house has been magnificently restored and furnished with care by our exceptionally welcoming hosts, Agnes and Harrie. We stayed in the Heritage Room which has a double bed and a 3/4 bed with an ensuite bathroom. It is a comfortable and spacious room at the back of the house. We particularly appreciated the ability to select from three sitting times for breakfast. This flexibility allowed us to choose on a daily basis the times that best suited our plans for the day. There are four breakfast choices in addition to fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal, and fruit juices. (We tried them all, and all were equally delicious!) The location is superb. It is within walking distance of several excellent restaurants. Located centrally in the 1000 Lakes area, Gananoque has much to offer with many things to do and beautiful scenery. Once again, thanks to Harrie and Agnes for making our stay so memorable!!
