My husband stayed here last Friday night. We had the Loft room. Very nice extra large room and the view was awesome. There was a window overlooking the St. Lawrence with a window seat and 2 red leather chairs to sit in to watch all the boats and activity in the water. Excellent spot to just relax with a couple cocktails and enjoy. If you are looking for somewhere to go so you can unwind and not have to leave this is it. You have a pub right downstairs to enjoy beverages and great food. There is a screened in porch overlooking the river as well. This was a nice touch as we weren't constantly swatting bugs away. There is a wood stove here as well so I am assuming when cooler weather arrives it's used.
This is our second time to a B&B and this particular spot sets the bar high!. Yummy breakfast served in the morning with a fresh fruit bowl as a started.
I would not hesitate to stay here again and I highly recommend it.

Room Tip: Loft room is the spot to be.

Stayed at the Stonewater over a Sunday night and would definitely stay there again. The other reviews capture all the great things one could say. The location could not be any better for a full experience of Gananoque and being able to walk around to the different shops and the waterfront.

The list of wonderfuls is long - wonderful comfy bed with abundant bedding, quiet, quiet, quiet, beautifully maintained historic building, extravagant choice of breakfasts, great setting in a lovely small town with plenty to see and experience and encourage walking.

Jeff and Sue are in my opinion perfect hosts - genuinely warm and friendly, offering but never insisting or intruding, We felt welcome in all the spacious living rooms, and the awesome just-like-grandmother's screened front porch with chairs inviting the guest to sit and read, or watch the river.

Room Tip: All rooms are quiet. the top floor rooms are downright luxurious with kitchen facilities, very spac...

Home now and find I still think about the pleasures of our time at Stonewater (stayed 3 nights).
First of all. I miss the home cooked breakfast on the screened veranda overlooking the harbour. Generous and cooked to order! Jeff and Sue were perfect hosts - available when you needed them, friendly and informative, and giving you lots of space to do your own thing. We toured all the rooms - all were nicely arranged, with great chairs for sitting reading or just looking out the window. Bed very comfortable, lovely linens, good shower, etc. house has it's original oak trim and floors. We will be back!

Room Tip: Rooms are quiet. Second floor suite has a stunning view!

This place is simply the best deal in town. It is right near the boat docks, block from the Thousand Islands Theatre, and has the best pub/restaurant that you could want in this town. The owner offered us a package deal that included dinner for two with wine and theatre tickets. We grabbed this deal and recommend it for everyone. You have a choice of anything on the menu and it is quite extensive and delicious. We enjoyed the room, comfy bed, ample breakfast and very friendly host. Couldn't have asked for a better time.

Room Tip: All the rooms are fine. Other travelers said there wasn't a blow dryer, but our room had one...

Had a wonderful time at Sue and Jeff's B and B. Despite the fact that it was Jeff's birthday, he still was up early to cook our tasty breakfast. We stayed in the Loft which had a lovely window seat. That was my favorite place to sit and look out at the water. Although they don't show a picture of it, the KING size bed was extremely comfortable. We also ate supper at the pub that is attached to the B and B. Early in the day, we had the pleasure of meeting Chef David who is quite the character and he made us feel welcomed upon arrival. If you get a chance to eat there, try their beef and mushroom stew. Very good. We would highly recommend that you stay at this B and B. Sue and Jeff are wonderful hosts.

I stayed at this beautiful B&B with my friends during our recent trip to Gananoque. It is located right next to the water, where the boat cruise departs. The hosts were very friendly, and the room was comfortable and clean! The highlight of my stay was the made to order breakfast. The chef was happy to fulfill your breakfast request in whatever way you like! I would have no hesitation in recommending anyone who visits the area!
