Whether you have the kids to enjoy the pools with (indoor and outdoor) or want to enjoy their complimentary breakfast buffet this IS the place to stay in Ganonoque. Cozy, romantic, nicely decorated and we had a room with jacuzzi and fireplace just down the hall from their front lobby. Of course we had a good TV and we were able to go on-line with their free internet service. Our hostess was "golden". Her and her family were the owner / operators. Raj and Harry and their daughter added the personal touches that makes this place worthy of staying at. Our room was reasonably priced and we got a casino package for the OLG slots less than a kilometer away, too. (Some freebies there.) There is a full grocery food store minutes away, fast food restaurants across the street and the 1000 Island boat tours just around the corner a bit and down the hill. The local gas station is the best price per litre value off the 401. The Best Westerns Motels grounds were well kept with lots of flowers and shade trees for an evening walk. The night we arrived there was even a guitarist entertaining patrons on their large outdoor licensed patio. The room we had was fresh and inviting. Had a great sleep and we felt relaxed the next day. My wife and I have used this Motel 3 times in the past year with our most recent visit was August 18th. Our daughter and her friends have also stayed here enroute to and from University from our Sarnia, ON home.

My family and I stayed here for three days and i was amazed! The breakfast buffet was great with bacon, eggs, homefries, fruits and cereal. The restaurant had great food for dinner. There was a bbq on the patio with live entertainment.

The hotel was very quiet at night, the beds really comfortable, more than enough pillows on one bed though and very spacious. The rooms were very clean and ours had a porch at the back that faced the outdoor pool. The indoor pool was very large with a hot tub and sauna. They had other facilities like squash/tennis/basket ball courts.

The Best Western was close almost all major attractions including the 1000 islands boat cruise. The staff was extremely helpful in helping us to find places to visit. The staff was great. This hotel is a great stay!!!

Room Tip: Pay the extra $10 or $20 for an upgrade!

We planned a trip to see 1000 island cruise..and stayed there for couple of days...had a great experience.....The rooms are really big, nice, clean & cozy....very polite people and good service...The hotel has indoor & outdoor pool, squash courts, tennis court, basketball & hot tub..any kind of playing equipment wasavailable on demand. Restaurent has very good food and good service as well. It is quote a big property but very well maintained..The hotel is close to casino, 1000 island cruise so obviously approachable. It was really a fun for the entire family...

We are a family of five (3 kids, ages 5-13) who stayed here for one night in August, before leaving on a houseboat rental. For this trip, we had my mother-in-law along, and got two connecting rooms.

The hotel was clean, and the service was for the hotel was excellent. It did seem a bit overpriced. (We paid over $150 per room for two queen. I think $120 or less would have been more reasonable.)

The rooms were a good size and were clean. Each room has a little patio with two chairs. It is an older property, but has been well maintained. There are no fridges or microwaves in the rooms as a standard. By pre-request you can get a fridge, which I did, and there was a fridge for each room on arrival.

They have extensive facilities (outdoor and indoor pool, indoor and outdoor basketball, an indoor squash court. We did not try any of those.

We did have the breakfast, which was a voucher for the buffet in the restaurant. At the time we went we got the last table. Others had to wait, and we needed to be patient for them to handle drinks and buffet refills. Breakfast quality and selection was good.

We had a view of the parking lot, which was Ok as we were only there for one night. If staying longer, I would suggest asking for a view of the pool area.

If in the area again for one night, I might stay there again after reviewing the prices at similar properties.

Run down, poor staff attitude, needs a good paint job. Tennis courts are decrepit, pictures they show you on line must have been taken in 1950's last time this place was cared for.

Terrible, dirty, smelly, over priced for what you get. A/C didn't work, vented tub didn't work. free movie channels were only good if you speak French or one other language, a couple didn't work at all. Everything was done on the cheap, cheap at sky high prices. We had to ask for our floor to be mopped it was filthy, our feet were black. Breakfast wasn't to bad, avoid the watered down OJ.
