We stayed in a chalet for 6 people, with an outdoor kitchen, with our two daughters and their grandparents. From the moment we arrived, we were amazed by our surroundings~ from the amazing view of Perce Rock to the gorgeous wooden chalet itself! The chalet was spacious and comfortable enough for our family of 5 adults (our daughter is a teenager) and one child. The double bunkbeds are a great idea, allowing our little family to bunk in one room together and their grandparents had the privacy of their own room. Every little detail was thought of with travellers in mind~ even wineglasses, can opener, paper towels, card game, dominos, etc!! The outdoor kitchen was a big hit with our family, too, as were the Muskoka chairs around the firepit, overlooking the amazing Perce Rock. Since we had great weather during our stay, we didn't need to use the flatsceen tv/dvd player. (Free Wifi was offered, and if we had to think really hard for a "negative" comment, it would only be that the signal was a little weak.) There was a playground on-site, and although there was no pool, there were beaches within a short driving distance. We also availed of the on-site laundry facilities, which were reasonably priced. We would most definitely recommend this campground/chalets for an unforgettable holiday adventure!

Had a good time in a two bedroom chalet. Great view of Perce Rock from the Chalet. Had problems with getting connected to the wifi internet. Was only able to connect for a total of about 5 minutes during my stay. Too bad the 2 bedroom chalets don't have a big gas BBQ. Were given small charcoal BBQ that's only good for hamburgers and hot dogs and not much else. Good location in town as away from the touristy main drag of Perce. They have coin laundry on site which is a definite plus. Towels were changed every two days. Kitchen well stocked with equipments. We had clear skies most nights and you can see the milky way very clearly. We experience windy conditions most days we were there. When it did rain, it was foggy too. Rogers cell phones do not work in this area, Telus is your best bet for good coverage. Cycling on Hwy 132 is okay, it has somewhat wide shoulder to cycle on.

We tented with 5 children between the ages of 6 and 11. We were greeted with farm fresh eggs,a cheery welcome and a guided tour of the public building and the facilities. This space held the bathrooms, showers, washer and dryer and a large common room . The common room had a fridge with a freezer, two televisions,4 large tables and chairs, books and board games. There was hot water in the bathrooms .The grounds were well cared for and everything was clean. There was a play ground near which was great for the ages of our children.
For those of you renting a traitor ,these were spaced well for privacy and the cabins were so appealing in their design. It was quiet at night which we appreciated.
There were fire pits at our site ,picnic tables and charcoal barbecues were available for those who wish to use them. The scenery is spectacular .THe site is about a 20 min walk from the village centre or a 5 min drive by car where one can purchase groceries, enjoy a French bakery, ,art gallery, souvenir shops, restaurants, and opportunities to take in whale watching, boat tours of the bonaventure island, Roche perce etc....

We strongly recommend these beautiful chalets. Perfect location and awesome views! (not always you get "Land's End in your window!) The service and the staff were excellent and we are looking forward to come back again. Thanks again for the great time!

Room Tip: Get the chalets by the beach!

This small cabin was clean with limited kitchen facilities but they were there. A hot plate, coffee maker, utensils and a small fridge. Pots & pans as well. Floor was stained plywood but a deck overlooked the ocean. This is good because there is not TV. A picnic table and comfortable chairs are on the deck and a fire ring is available to get in the camping spirit. Most units in this park are travel trailers for rental or seasonal residents. Bathroom was small with shower and toilet. ! double bed and 1 single where squeezed in. WiFi was good. Place is right next to the Town of Perce with plenty of restaurants and activities plus THE ROCK. A crow is there to provide wake up calls.

Stayed in a small cottage overlooking a cove. It was very clean and well kept. This particular cottage did not have a TV, radio or microwave but we knew that prior to arrival. For cooking there is a 2 burner hotplate. There is small fridge, which holds a lot more food than first glance would indicate. A toaster and coffeemaker are also in this cottage. The beds are very comfortable. At this same establishment there are other cottages which have a lot more ammenties which some might be looking for. A short distance behind the cottage we stayed in, the owner has built sheltered platforms with chairs to relax in & view Perce Rock. Owners and staff are friendly and helpful.

We stayed at a Nature Ocean chalet located in Cap d'Espoir (which is about a 12 minute drive from Percé) during the off season. The chalet was a little weather worn but was situated right on the ocean. The sunrise each morning was spectacular from the chalet. Breathtaking.

All of the chalets (5 of them) have a view of the ocean. There is also a beach that you can stroll on or do a little rock hounding for agate or jasper. For nature lovers, it is great. Seagulls, gannets, little shorebirds and seals can be seen regularly from your chalet. The chalet we stayed at had a kitchen, two small bedrooms with double beds upstairs (there is no hand rail going up the stairs so you have to be careful), a futon couch in the living area, cable tv, cd player and WIFI.

There is a grocery store nearby (within walking distance) and there is a Poissonnerie in Ste. Thérese where you can purchase the catch of the day at a reasonable price.

The chalet is pet friendly but note that pets are allowed only in the off season.

Things to do nearby: Trip to Bonaventure Island, whale watching, shopping, hiking, rockhounding, birdwatching, local artist galleries, etc.

For a relaxing, back to nature stress-free holiday, this is the place to go. We will stay here again.

Room Tip: All chalets have a view of the ocean but some are smaller than others.
