“Indulge at Era 67”
Reviewed 4 November 2013

It took a while to find Era 67, but it was certainly worth the time ! A wonderful setting with exceptional food & service. Because the background music was that of Gord Lightfoot (an orillia native), I asked if "Canadian Railroad Trilogy" was on the play list. Immediately our waitress had it played - now that's customer service ! We had a fantastic lunch including Era 67's version of a Philly cheesesteak sandwich (w. soup) and a Reuben (w. side salad), but the generous servings were more than either of us could finish. We were told that when ordering steaks or prime rib, that it was OK to go to the kitchen and have the meat cut (& cooked, of course) to order. When making reservations, one can choose their favourite spot. We'll be back !

“Best in Orillia”
Reviewed 28 October 2013

If you are looking for great food and service then be sure to visit Era 67. We were a party of seven and every one of us raved about our food. The appetizers, entrees and desserts were excellent. The service was also very friendly and efficient. The waitress was sure to ask us if we had show reservations and timed our service accordingly.

There was a young artist playing guitar, keyboards and singing. He was excellent as well and soft enough not to bother our conversation.

“you have to eat here!”
Reviewed 10 October 2013

This restaurant has exceptional food, wine and service. Whether it is for lunch, dinner or just drinks, you will not be disappointed. Surf, turf and the garden are all covered on the menu. The wine list is great or take your own and pay corkage except for Thursday nite. Produce is local. Do your palate a favour and eat here.

“Lunch was superb!”
Reviewed 8 October 2013

couldn't get a dinner reservation, so we rearranged our plans to arrive for lunch and we were so glad that we did! Had soup and sandwich, but such a luxurious mushroom soup and succulent beef dip on a great baguette. The sandwich was a bit rich (melted cheese and gravy, not jus, for dipping) but the salad lightened it up. And a nice autumn "sangria" with warm spice and, I think, cider.
