We have stayed at Chateau Kimberley for many visits to Kimberley. The hotel is very quiet and clean. The management and staff are very friendly. We always have a pleasant stay there. Breakfast is included with your stay. Hope all will enjoy their stay as well as we do>

We arrived in Kimberley during a downpour and with no reservations. Unsure of where to stay we read the hotel entry in the BC Accommodation guide and decided to check it out. This unique renovated heritage building (originally the Cominco Steel Administration Bldg) ended up being the highlight stay of our summer vacation. The warm welcome from Danielle and the offer of fresh coffee and cookies with a comfy seat by the fireplace in the inviting lounge, was a terrific antidote to the dismal weather. We had a beautiful 2 bed room with big windows, large bathroom, fridge, coffee maker and lots of space. The nightly rate $99 included a good breakfast in the downstairs breakfast room. The breakfast room opens up to a walkout patio. Breakfast included fruit, yogurt, toast, cereal, bagels, juice and coffee or tea. The immaculately clean building is also an art gallery for Kimberley and local artists display their art. We enjoyed our stay so much we extended it an extra night. The staff go out of their way to make sure your needs are met and they are helpful with suggestions of restaurants and activities.

Spent one night here. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful . There was a breakfast offered with the stay but we did not indulge as we were in town visiting family. On arrival, we required a cot for our niece that was traveling with us, the hotel generously upgraded our room with no extra cost to us. It was greatly appreciated. Prices are very reasonable. The room was exceptionally clean. I highly recommend this hotel.

This is a charming little place. I was a bit hesitant since it was listed under B&B's on Trip Advisor, but it's more like a little Inn.

It was not busy when we were there and the very friendly person at the front desk upgraded us. That was a nice unexpected surprise. There is a spot on the main floor that serves complementary coffee, tea and cookies all day... also a nice touch and appreciated.

The complimentary continental breakfast was lovely. There was enough food there to feed an army. Yogurt, good quality OJ, breads, hot and cold cereals. I would have liked a better selection of fruit, but not a big deal. We had our breakfast on the patio. It was wonderful!! So peaceful!! The air was so fresh. Very relaxing.

The room was a good size. Comfortable bed. No iron and ironing board but when I requested one it was provided without a problem. My only negative about the room is that on their website it advertized soaker ... the room we were upgraded to only had a standup shower.

That day we toured around Kimberley. I have to say, Kimberley in the summer was a bit of a sleepy town. There were some unique shops but we decided around lunchtime to move on. Had we stayed in town, we definitely would have stated at the Chateau another night, and if we return to Kimberley, we'd stay here again.

Although the Chateau Kimberley Hotel doesn't quite look like a hotel from the outside, (in fact we were right across the street from it and didn't even know we were at the right place), don't let that fool you. This is a hidden gem. Very well decorated with inviting decor, beautiful paintings from local artists and an overall warm feeling. Our host was very accommodating and hospitable.

There is a large sitting area with fireplace, offering books on local history; which at one point of our stay we spent some time reading the history of Kimberly. Very relaxing.

As for the rooms, they were very clean and comfortable and the fact that the breakfast of cold cereals, fruit, toast, yogurt and of course coffee was included; was a nice bonus. It was a beautiful day, so we enjoyed our breakfast on the patio outside. We would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone.

This hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. Our room was catagorized as "The Deluxe Queen" and was large and comfortable. High ceilings, "settee", great bed, and a little anteroom/entrance hall that was equipped with fridge and microwave, were all conducive to a most agreeable stay. It is a corner room with windows on two sides providing lots of light but good heavy curtains that effectively blocked out early morning sunshine. We were in Kimberley as our grandchildren were participating in a swim meet and it was wonderful to have a room spacious enough to entertain them and their parents. Cookies and coffee or tea were provided just off the very lovely public room that lends itself to luxurious lounging. A very comfy and elegant room. A complimentary continental breakfast is available and the pleasant patio is an agreeable spot. The hotel is perfectly located mere steps from the Platzl where we enjoyed a very delicous German dinner. The whole atmosphere of this hotel is is very welcoming, tranquil and has a "sumptuous" feel. Without exception the staff was very helpful and engaging. We loved it.

We just happened to see this hotel as we were stopped beside the Platzl - we wanted to see if the Mozart Inn or Chef Bernard's was open. Then we looked across the street and saw the sign for the hotel.

It's beautiful inside, and the two staff members we met were polite and personable. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. We weren't looking for a hotel with a pool or hot tub, so this was perfect for us.

Complimentary breakfast the next morning was really good, too. An assortment of muffins, yogurt, breakfast cereals, toast and hard boiled eggs.
